Scale, Market growth, IT complexity.
As a Solution Architect responsible for Analysis, design, development, SIT, UAT and implementation of Data
Warehouse solution for a complex Data warehouse. (Datastage 11.3, Oracle, Netezza) As part of transformation from
Oracle CRM to Siebel CRM, many downstream systems are impacted. MICS is a data warehouse based Cognos
reporting system used by Senior Managers to track overall Prepaid and Post-paid business. CRM is important source
system, apart from 27 other source systems at enterprise level, from which MICS system pulls various reports.
 Responsible for providing solution approach and lead the team - Analysis of hundreds of ETL jobs spread across
6 modules, changes in the Dimension, staging and Fact level of MICS ETL jobs where CRM is used as source.
 Responsible for managing scope, planning, tracking, change control, aspects of this complex DWH application:
live in production, includes various modules, hundreds of ETL jobs and cognos reports are impacted. Some new
functionality is introduced, but same report will work for Current CRM circles as well as new Siebel CRM circles.

to day direction to the project team, setting up three new AIX servers and created Production like environment
for SIT and UAT

Analysis, design, development and implementation of loading the initial set of records in the PrepOL database so
that it reflects correct picture as of go live date.
 Designed and validated the data migration code - SQL Loader Control files and shell scripts.
 Coordinated during trial runs and Production rollout for 16 circles. Worked on Environment set up for new
database PREPOLTS and users. Investigation and correction of Churn failures / missing VC churns and other
data issues. New Mount and other report changes for PrepOL Reports. Performance tuning, SQL query
enhancements, code enhancements to achieve performance targets.

Client: Transport Department of Canadian Province: Road User Safety Modernization
The new Siebel Application Carrier Solution was supposed to replace some of the old systems with many real time
and batch interfaces to make the data flow.
During Release 1 migrated Unstructured Data (documents with some Meta Data attributes) from hard disc drives to
a Document Management Solution - OpenText. 'Object Importer' utility for OpenText was used to import the meta-
data about each document. Automated windows batch files picked the specified set of source files, called the java
utility and prepared xml files for each set. This automation helped client / deployment team to process around
200000+ documents in few hours.
During Release 2, Data needs to be migrated from many Legacy systems to Siebel Application. Customer entities
were to be imported into Oracle Customer Hub (SDH) tables first and other entities were be directly imported into
Siebel base tables using EIM. As a Data Migration Lead, was responsible for Analysis, design and development of
this complex solution where "Data" was playing a major role.
 Prepared Design Strategy and Initial Documents
 Drive the Analysis and Build for Data Conversion. Studied the requirements, prepared the estimates.

Mobinil Egypt, the telecom company, has implemented Siebel Sales application. Legacy system - Optima was going
to be sunset and existing data in Optima, like Account/ Prospect, Contact, Opportunities and Service Requests till
the date of Cut-off, needed to be migrated to Siebel. Developed Data stage jobs for this One - Time Data Migration
activity. Handled both EIM and ETL part of Data Migration activity. Tuned the ifb files for better performance.
Completed many rounds of end to end testing in Development environment. Prepared a detailed Implementation
Plan to ensure smooth migration in Production.

Hertz Sales Force Automation - Siebel eSales application supported Mobile Clients. There were nightly loads for
Customer data from Mainframe and Incremental loads from OLTP to OLAP/ Siebel Analytics which generates DSS
reports for management.
As a Project Lead, analyze and work on various business requirements as change/ service requests. These service
requests were treated as a small “Project” in itself. These projects go through all phases of SDLC starting from
Requirement Gathering till Close Out.
