The service aims to facilitate a conversation
between cultures that generates a
progressive and open space for exchanging
ideas, which raises awareness and
rediscovers the potential in Melrose. The
service utilizes the youthful and vibrant
culture of the community as a means to
educate and address opportunities for social
problems.
Service Idea


In collaboration with Rebel Diaz Arts
Collective, an organization who provides a
space for performances, educational
workshops, and multi-media training,
Reframing Melrose will achieve its aims of
providing a safe space for cultural exchange
as well as in enabling youth by giving value
to their ideas.

Connecting Cultures in the Bronx

  • 2. Problems and Opportunities The general public has a biased view towards the Bronx and the unsolved small problems in daily life reduce potential positive actions from the community. How might we rediscover the value of culturally diverse perspectives within the South Bronx?
  • 6. Service Idea The service aims to facilitate a conversation between cultures that generates a progressive and open space for exchanging ideas, which raises awareness and rediscovers the potential in Melrose. The service utilizes the youthful and vibrant culture of the community as a means to educate and address opportunities for social problems.
  • 7. Service Idea In collaboration with Rebel Diaz Arts Collective, an organization who provides a space for performances, educational workshops, and multi-media training, Reframing Melrose will achieve its aims of providing a safe space for cultural exchange as well as in enabling youth by giving value to their ideas.
