gearboxes.Check couplings and replace if necessary. Replace and or add oil and filters to equipment such as pumps,
gearboxes, cranes and reservoirs. Do tank checks, N2 levels, Varec operation and conservation vent checks.Use all
kinds of tools, shop equipment, manlifts and forklifts. Clean DA's. Work on and replace fire monitors and valves.
Replace mechanical seals, component and cartridge,lip seals and Impro type oil seals. Do alignment on
pumps,gearboxes and motors.Level new bases and prepare for grouting. Set impeller clearances to pump backplate
or pump bowl, volute. Check for pipe strain. Do pump documentation such as shaft runout,lift and end play. Perform
seal leak checks in shop and after installation. Check bearing and housing dimensions. Press off bearings and
bushings Use bearing heaters. Use torch for sleeve removal.Install N2 meters on tanks. Pipe up diffuser and low
suction piping in tanks. Install new guide wires, tape and floats in tanks for Varec operation. Check for motor
vibration, excessive heat and replace motor bearings.
