2. Scenario of Youth in Indian
Politics
 India is the largest democratic country
in the world, where we can choose our
government directly through vote.
 The current scenario of Indian politics
is bad due to lack of improper
leadership of youth. we can see that
youth percentage in parliament is only
8%(47out of 545 members).

4.  It is observed from the studies that
nearly 66%(150million people) are the
youth voters in our country who decide
the fate of the government.
 Youth is synonymous with need for
change in the country & responsible for
various campaigns like Nirbhaya and
Lokpal who took to the streets
protesting for the rights.

youth lacking is
 Majority of the youth are lacking
knowledge about the current things
going on
 Simply neglecting the things like let
them go what’s the benefit for us

7.  Many of them don’t know that there is
a right to question like (RTI Act 2005)
 The citizens of India are provided with
a Right called, Right to Information
gives right to question on any service
offered by the government

9. Movements from youth:
 In 1970’s Jaya Prakash Narayan lead
the TOTAL REVOLUTION movement
during the state of Emergency given
by then Prime Minster Smt.Indira
Gandhi
 where our eminent leaders like former
Prime minster Chandrasekar,Present
PM Narendra Modi,Nitish kumar, Lalu
prasad yadav etc..,who are youth
icons now.

10.  Majority of the youth are neglecting the
politics as they are not well aware and
some of them are involved in social
activities, those should enter into the
politics and lead our nation effectively
and shape our nation towards
development.
 Nearly 50% of the youth are turning in
to entrepreneurs now a days and like
that youth should involve in active
politics and they must create
awareness among the people.
Yet,there is a saying youth triumphs
age any day of the week.
