Controls and manages the budget assigned for each one of the purchases and contracts, with
the aim of generating long term agreements with suppliers pertaining to the assigned
budget.
Leads logistic management of Sulfuric Acid Supply. (480,000 tons per year).
Leads negotiation of strategic supply contracts (fuel, explosive, tires, Marc and Sulfuric
Acid transport).
During 2015, USD $ 1,800 saves are reported in comparison to assigned budget, leading
commercial management and negotiation with suppliers.

Traffic & Logistic Manager
Leads traffic & logistic of Project in mining development. Negotiations with shipping
companies in Chile, Europe and China, achieving saves over USD $ 1,650,000 in
comparison with the costs reported by suppliers.
Leads management of contracts of ground transportation, which ones provide service from
various local armorers.
Leads internal and external teams (Surveyor) which ones are focused in controlling and
leading security in transport.
Controls and manages assigned budget with the aim of optimizing resources based on
negotiations with service suppliers in the sea and land areas. (Negotiation with armorers
and land companies during port strike), generating savings of USD $ 930,000 under the
concepts of detentions and demurrage. Costs that were not considered in original budget.
Tripontis Consulting and Services 2011 – 2013
Lead Consultant
Leads execution of Mining Cluster Project for Codelco in South and North regions.
Development in process of execution with fifteen domestic companies.
Develops and directs supply logistic plan of strategic supplies (limestone, sulfur, Sulfuric
acid) for BHP Colombia, nickel mining company (Matoso Hill).
Directs optimization Program of Services Management in the stages related to the contracts
management of transport and services companies.
Doña Inés - Collahuasi Mining Company 2008 – 2011
Logistics Manager
Directs the areas of imports, supplies engineering, inventories and storing in CMDIC with a
value of USD $ 150 millions.
Leads logistics area of strategic negotiations for the purchase of Sulfuric acid, lime and
fuel; directs sulfuric acid supply logistics, obtaining a saving up to USD 600 millions in
relation to budget during 2010.
Leads a contracts management team of strategic supplies such as Fuel, Lime, Sulfuric Acid,
grinding balls and spare parts.
Negotiates and develops strategic plan for leasing of airplanes from USA and Europe with
the aim of diminishing costs of detention, obtaining a USD 20 millions savings.
Leads a strategic plan of the logistic area, developing a global logistic study oriented to
define integral logistic strategy for CMDIC for next the 10 years.
Manages the implementation of good practices applied to the industry in handling
inventories, provisions logistic. For this purpose, a visit program is generated for main
suppliers of equipment and spare parts in the USA and Europe.
Leads team oriented to apply good practices in security road in the collaborating companies
of strategic supplies, achieving in two years, the end of fatal results accidents occurred in
route.
Generates plan oriented to evaluate railroad operation from Antofagasta to CMDIC Site,
work that is finalized at the end of 2011.
Important improvements in service levels of the Supply chain are obtained (Fill rate),
taking it from a 63% (2008) to an 85% (2010), optimizing the replacement inventory
system and flows of distribution channels, by implementing improvements to the contract
management process with service and transport companies.
Leads improvements of accuracy levels of the inventory, through the implementation of
cyclical count systems and preservation, elevating the levels from 70% to 93%.
Leads project related to Trucking system of national and international merchandise, which
is in its last phase (implementation), it is considered to generate 350 millions of annual
saving in managing the Lead Time of the suppliers.

Commercial & Operational Manager 2007-2008
Maintains regular contact with clients representing the 80% of the current businesses and a
monthly invoicing of USD 3,5 millions (Cementos Bio-Bio, Sub Sole, Gesex).
Defines a new marketing, sales and customer service policy, leading to profitability
maximization of the commercial management, generating savings in the order of USD
50.000 during the first semester of implementation.
Maintains negotiations with fruit exporters in relation to the transport from fridges to
shipping ports (SubSole, Gessex, Agricom, Nevada Export and Chiquita).
Leads studies of feasibility of new business for about CLP $2.000.000.000
Creates, along with the General Management, a planning process at all levels, aiming to
improve the service delivered to clients, in order to avoid any situation that could
jeopardize the quality of the service level.

Directs sales representatives team, assigning customer portfolio; establishes market
participation objectives in each one of the relevant clients, measuring results month-to-
month; assigns visit programs with permanent surveillance goals, permitting to set the
company in the group of the five companies managing the greatest volume of local
retailers.
Structures negotiations program according to the seasonality and origin of relevant
importers with clients such as Falabella, Sodimac, CencoSud, Forestal Arauco , Codelco,
and abroad with Akzo Nobel, Basf, Stora Enzo, Torras Papel.
Designs and controls innovative logistic program of equipment provision with the aim of
decreasing unnecessary positioning costs; implements complementary plan wit the purpose
of providing a total logistic service, including domestic ground transport, which was the
base to achieve competitive levels during 2005, representing saves of USD 72,000, a
reduction of 22% in relation to 2004.
Strengthens relations with customers in the long term with the aim of fostering each one of
them with the company and people, by means of permanent visits, training, in-time
answers and problem solving with proactive planning in the operation.
Attracts new strategic customers with operations from the East and Europe to Chile,
through a detailed market investigation, creating seasonable and permanent logistic
solutions in Chile and in the Origins, assigning an origin responsible person to stregthen
commercial realtions with suppliers.
Leads negotiations with Chilean retail chains, mining projects, cellulose, fertilizers and
polymers; in the latter two areas the company saved over USD 86,000 in logistics costs.
Negotiates rates with domestic and overseas clients, aimed at increasing market coverage
and reducing the risk of depending only on a few clients.
Sets goals according to market behavior, seasonal adjustments and size of clients as per
each origin.
By controlling container logistics, reduces operational costs and improved profitability of
