Leads traffic & logistic of Project in mining development. Negotiations with shipping
companies in Chile, Europe and China, achieving saves over USD $ 1,650,000 in
comparison with the costs reported by suppliers.
Leads management of contracts of ground transportation, which ones provide service from
various local armorers.
Leads internal and external teams (Surveyor) which ones are focused in controlling and
leading security in transport.
Controls and manages assigned budget with the aim of optimizing resources based on
negotiations with service suppliers in the sea and land areas. (Negotiation with armorers
and land companies during port strike), generating savings of USD $ 930,000 under the
concepts of detentions and demurrage. Costs that were not considered in original budget.

Leads execution of Mining Cluster Project for Codelco in South and North regions.

Directs the areas of imports, supplies engineering, inventories and storing in CMDIC with a
value of USD $ 150 millions.
Leads logistics area of strategic negotiations for the purchase of Sulfuric acid, lime and
fuel; directs sulfuric acid supply logistics, obtaining a saving up to USD 600 millions in
relation to budget during 2010.
Leads a contracts management team of strategic supplies such as Fuel, Lime, Sulfuric Acid,
grinding balls and spare parts.
3. Negotiates and develops strategic plan for leasing of airplanes from USA and Europe with
the aim of diminishing costs of detention, obtaining a USD 20 millions savings.
Leads a strategic plan of the logistic area, developing a global logistic study oriented to
define integral logistic strategy for CMDIC for next the 10 years.
Manages the implementation of good practices applied to the industry in handling
inventories, provisions logistic. For this purpose, a visit program is generated for main
suppliers of equipment and spare parts in the USA and Europe.
Leads team oriented to apply good practices in security road in the collaborating companies
of strategic supplies, achieving in two years, the end of fatal results accidents occurred in

Generates plan oriented to evaluate railroad operation from Antofagasta to CMDIC Site,
work that is finalized at the end of 2011.
Important improvements in service levels of the Supply chain are obtained (Fill rate),
taking it from a 63% (2008) to an 85% (2010), optimizing the replacement inventory
system and flows of distribution channels, by implementing improvements to the contract
management process with service and transport companies.
Leads improvements of accuracy levels of the inventory, through the implementation of
cyclical count systems and preservation, elevating the levels from 70% to 93%.
Leads project related to Trucking system of national and international merchandise, which
is in its last phase (implementation), it is considered to generate 350 millions of annual
saving in managing the Lead Time of the suppliers.

monthly invoicing of USD 3,5 millions (Cementos Bio-Bio, Sub Sole, Gesex).
