“Microsoft is rapidly providing a strong platform for running Azure AD joined devices in the
cloud with modern management (Intune), but how can you support some of the legacy
applications and traditional users scenarios in a modern workplace.“
The journey continues…… continuously

• Microsoft is investing heavily in Cloud-only scenarios
to compete in a ever-changing market!
• Most legacy applications can be moved to the cloud
• Hybrid identity is falling into place.

• Our Infrastructure and clients will utilize Azure Active Directory authentication to enable enhanced
security features like conditional access, multi-factor authentication.
• We will seamlessly integrate with classic Windows authentication to maintain application
compatibility and provide a single sign-on user experience.
• Both single and multi-tenant deployments, making smaller deployments (less than 100 users)
much more economically viable, while providing the necessary security of tenant isolation
• The improved infrastructure will also include a web client that allows users to connect from any
HTML5 browser. The web client, combined with the other architectural improvements, allows many
Windows applications to be easily transformed into a Web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
application without rewrite.
Microsoft is rapidly providing a strong platform for running Azure AD joined devices in the cloud with modern management (Intune), but how can you support some of the legacy applications and traditional users scenarios in a modern workplace.
