D3Natal 90 Day Kits
Bio-Tech D3Natal 1 a day
The ONLY Prenatal on the Planet with superior
Vitamin D3 Dosage of 5000IU as recommended
          from latest clinical studies
                      es.
Prenatal Vitamins
For a mother's health, and the health of her baby,
she is advised to take "prenatal vitamins" during
               pregnancy. These are specially formulated
multivitamins that make up for any nutritional
deficiencies in the mother's diet. While the
             supplements contain numerous vitamins and
minerals, their folic acid, iron, DHA, and calcium content are especially
                                 important.

D3Natal -Vitamin D
• Bio Tech's D3Natal contains 5000IU of Vitamin
D3 (cholecalciferol)
• The current RDA is grossly inadequate at
450mcg/day (UPMC study; Lisa Bodner, PhD,
M.P.H, M.D.)
• The ONLY prenatal with adequate and newly
recommended IU levels between 4000-6000IU
• Vitamin D3 is water-soluble and dissolves
instantly
D3Natal -Vitamin D3
 Vitamin D3 regulates calcium absorption
from the intestines, maintains normal blood
levels of calcium and phosphorus, an
promotes bone formation
• More benefits of Vitamin D3 are coming to
light and affects nearly every disease state
from diabetes to cancer
• The main source of Vitamin D3 is sunlight
D3Natal -Vitamin D3
• People with dark skin, limited exposure to
sunlight, and those who wear sunscreen
need to supplement Vitamin D in their
diets
• Adequate blood levels for Vitamin D
range between 50-125 nanomoles per
liter (nmpol/L)
• -60% of the population is "D deficient"
(Zellman,WebMD)
D3Natal -Vitamin D
• Vitamin D3 vs.Vitamin D2 (Key Studies)

° "Vitamin D2 is Much Less Effective than Vitamin D3" (Arman,
Hollis, Heaney 2004)

Conclusion: Vitamin D2 potency is less than 1/3 the potency of
Vitamin D3 with a shorter duration of action
D3Natal -Vitamin D3
° "Vitamin D3 Is More Potent than Vitamin D2 in
Humans" (Heaney, Recker, Grote, Horst, Armas 201 I)

Conclusion: Vitamin D3 is ~87% more potent in raising
and maintaining serum 25(OH)D concentrations and
produces 2-3 fold greater storage of Vitamin D3 over D2
D3Natal-Vitamin D3
• Low levels of Vitamin D during pregnancy are
associated with poor fetal/infant skeletal formation
and growth as well as poor tooth mineralization
• Over 50 Universities, Hospitals and Clinics utilize Bio-
Tech Vitamin D3 for their research
• Vitamin D3 is not a Rx. Vitamin D2 is available via Rx
only
D3Natal -Vitamin D3
 • Lactation and Vitamin D3
 • A reassessment of current Vitamin D intake for mothers is critical as
current recommendations result in a high degree of Vitamin D
deficiency, especially in the African American population.
 • Current recommendations of 200-400 ILJ/d for pregnant and
lactating women are grossly inadequate, especially in minority
populations. A growing body a research suggests that dosing with over
2000 ID/d is required to maintain robust normal levels.
 • Studies that introduce high doses ofVitamin D (2000IU to 4000IU)
improve the nutritional status of both mother and infant.
D3Natal-Folic Acid
• Folic acid is very important in embryonic development
• The RDA for Folic Acid is 600mcg. However, new research and March
of Dimes recommend I mg Folic acid daily
• Folic Acid is involved in the synthesis of DMA and in cell division
• Insufficient dietary folic acid increases the risk of birth defects,
especially neural tube defects (NTD) such as spina bifida and
anencephaly
• 3000 children born annually with NTD in the U.S. alone
D3Natal-Folic Acid
• Quatrefolic® acid is the form of folic acid used in Bio
Tech's D3Natal
• Quatrefolic® by Gnosis Labs is the ACTIVE form of L-
Methylfolate (L-5-methyltetrahydrafoIate)
• A form of Vitamin B, L-5-MTHF provides the active
form of folic acid. ~40% of the population cannot
adequately synthesize basic folic acid
D3Natal-Folic Acid
• Quatrefolic® is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-
methyltetrahydrofolate and is structurally analogous to the
reduced and active form of folic acid.
• Developed by Gnosis S.p.A, it represents the fourth
generation folate providing greater stability, higher water
solubility and multiple ingredient formulation flexibility
compared to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium salt
guaranteeing an improved bioavailability.
D3Natal –Folic Acid
• Choosing Quatrefolic® as a source of folate presents
several advantages both for manufacturer of dietary
ingredients and for the consumer of supplements:
• Provides the active form of folate, 5-
methyltetrahydrofolate, naturally present in the body and
available for its biological action.
• Has been recognized GRAS. Gnosis has undertakenseveral
in-vitro and in-vivo preclinical and clinical studies to
characterize and guarantee the safety profile of the product.
• Is a Gnosis proprietary product with pending patent and
trademark applications guaranteeing a wide range of use
and covering all areas of folate application.
D3Natal- Folic Acid
• Is produced according to cGMP guaranteeing a reproducible quality
profile.
• Glucosamine, as a salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate does not
come from animal sources and the product is suitable for vegetarian
consumption.
• Higher bioavailability and improved water solubility showed by
Quatrefolic® respect to calcium salt open new perspectives and uses
for combinations and formulations with vitamins and minerals both for
dietary supplements and Food & Beverage industry.
D3Natal - Iron
• Iron deficiency during pregnancy is associated
with adverse birth outcomes, particularly, if
present during early gestation. Iron supplements
are widely recommended during pregnancy, but
evidence of their benefit in relation to infant
outcomes is not established.
• Mainly for the benefit of the mother, a small
percentage of births end in post-partum
hemorrhage
D3 Natal - Iron
• Even before you're pregnant, your body needs
° It's essential for making hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells
that carries oxygen to other cells.
° It's an important component of myoglobin (a protein that helps
supply oxygen to your muscles), collagen (a protein in bone, cartilage,
and other connective tissue), and many enzymes.
° It helps you maintain a healthy immune system.
D3Natal - Iron
• During pregnancy you need a lot more of this crucial mineral.
Here's why:
 The amount of blood in your body increases during pregnancy until
you have almost 50 percent more blood than usual, so you need
more iron to make more hemoglobin.
 You need extra iron for your growing baby and placenta, especially in
  the second and third trimesters.
D3Natal-Iron
Many women need more because they start their pregnancy
 with insufficient stores of iron.
 Iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy is associated with
preterm delivery, low birth weight, and infant mortality.
D3Natal-Iron
 Two forms of Iron:
o Heme Iron
o Meat derived
• Non-Heme Iron
• Vegetable, legume, etc., derived
D3Natal-Iron
 Heme Iron examples and RDA:

Omega Oil

 Bio Tech "Omega Oil" contains:
 Marine Lipid Concentrate (50% Omega-3) as:
 ° EPA (Eicosapantaenoic Acid): 300mg
 ° DMA (Docosahexaenoic Acid): 200mg
 ° Omega-3 Fatty Acids: SOOmg
*Derived from fish: sardines, anchovies, mackerel
Omega Oil
Omega-3s are a family of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty
acids that are essential nutrients for health and
 development.
Unfortunately, these are not synthesized by the human
body and therefore must be obtained from diet or
supplementation. However, the typical American diet is
 greatly lacking in Omega—3's.
Research has confirmed that adding EPA and DMA to the
diet of pregnant women has a positive effect on visual and
 cognitive development of the baby.
Omega Oil
 Research indicates that the two most beneficial omega-3s
are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA
(docosahexaenoic acid). Although EPA and DHA naturally
occur together and work together in the body, studies
show that each fatty acid has unique benefits.
 EPA supports the heart, immune system, and inflammatory
response. DHA supports the brain, eyes, and central
nervous system which is why it is uniquely important for
  pregnant and lactating women.
Omega Oil
 Omega-3s have been found to be essential for both
neurological and early visual development of the baby.
This omega-3 dietary deficiency is compounded by the fact
that pregnant women become depleted in omega-3s,
when the fetus uses omega-3s for its nervous system
development. Omega-3s are also used after birth to make
breast milk. With each subsequent pregnancy, mothers are
  further depleted.
 Studies have also shown that higher consumption of
omega-3s may reduce the risk of allergies in infants.
Omega Oil

 • Omega-3 fatty acids have positive effects on the
pregnancy itself. Increased intake of EPA and DMA has
been shown to prevent pre-term labor and delivery, lower
the risk of preeclampsia and may increase birth weight.
 • Omega-3 deficiency also increases the mother's risk for
depression. This may explain why postpartum mood
disorders may become worse and begin earlier with
  subsequent pregnancies.
Lacto-Pectin (Probiotic)
• Formulated with eight Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium
probiotic strains
• Supports a healthy balance of good intestinal bacteria when
taken daily*
• Beneficial to overall digestive and immune health*
• May help control digestive disruptions caused by
diet, travel, or stress*
Lacto-Pectin (Probiotic)
 Lacto-Pectin Probiotic Formula
 The human gastrointestinal tract is home to trillions of bacterial
organisms. For healthy individuals, these bacteria perform many
helpful functions, including digesting food, producing vitamins and
hormones, and regulating the immune system. However, the natural
balance of good bacteria can be disrupted by changes in diet and
routine, travel, or stress. Bio-Tech Lacto-Pectin is formulated to
supply beneficial bacteria, known as probiotics, that can help
maintain balance and support overall digestive health.* While many
probiotic formulas contain only one strain (type) of bacteria, Lacto-
Pectin includes eight probiotic strains to provide maximum support.*

Best Prenatal Vitamins On The Planet

  • 2. Bio-Tech D3Natal 1 a day The ONLY Prenatal on the Planet with superior Vitamin D3 Dosage of 5000IU as recommended from latest clinical studies es.
  • 3. Prenatal Vitamins For a mother's health, and the health of her baby, she is advised to take "prenatal vitamins" during pregnancy. These are specially formulated multivitamins that make up for any nutritional deficiencies in the mother's diet. While the supplements contain numerous vitamins and minerals, their folic acid, iron, DHA, and calcium content are especially important.
  • 4. D3 Natal  Supplement Facts  Serving Size One (I) Capsule Daily  Amount Per Serving % Daily Value  Vitamin A (Natural beta-carotene) 3,000 IU 60%  Vitamin C 226 mg 377% (Magnesium & Manganese ascorbates)  Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 5,000 IU 1,250%  Vitamin E (d-AlphaTocopheryl Succinate) 10 IU 33%  Niacin (as Niacin and Niacinamide) 18 mg 90%  Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) 0.1 mg 5%  Folic Acid 1,000 meg 250% (As Quatrefolic® L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate glucosamine salt)  Vitamin BI2 (Methylcobalamin) 200 meg 3,333%  Biotin 250 meg 83%  Calcium (Citrate) 48 mg 5%  Iron (Fumarate) 14 mg 78%  Iodine (Kelp) 100 meg 67%  Magnesium (Ascorbate) 18 mg 5%  Manganese (Ascorbate) 0.20 mg 10%  Zinc (Methionine) 5 mg 33%
  • 5. D3Natal -Vitamin D • Bio Tech's D3Natal contains 5000IU of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) • The current RDA is grossly inadequate at 450mcg/day (UPMC study; Lisa Bodner, PhD, M.P.H, M.D.) • The ONLY prenatal with adequate and newly recommended IU levels between 4000-6000IU • Vitamin D3 is water-soluble and dissolves instantly
  • 6. D3Natal -Vitamin D3  Vitamin D3 regulates calcium absorption from the intestines, maintains normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus, an promotes bone formation • More benefits of Vitamin D3 are coming to light and affects nearly every disease state from diabetes to cancer • The main source of Vitamin D3 is sunlight
  • 7. D3Natal -Vitamin D3 • People with dark skin, limited exposure to sunlight, and those who wear sunscreen need to supplement Vitamin D in their diets • Adequate blood levels for Vitamin D range between 50-125 nanomoles per liter (nmpol/L) • -60% of the population is "D deficient" (Zellman,WebMD)
  • 8. D3Natal -Vitamin D • Vitamin D3 vs.Vitamin D2 (Key Studies) ° "Vitamin D2 is Much Less Effective than Vitamin D3" (Arman, Hollis, Heaney 2004) Conclusion: Vitamin D2 potency is less than 1/3 the potency of Vitamin D3 with a shorter duration of action
  • 9. D3Natal -Vitamin D3 ° "Vitamin D3 Is More Potent than Vitamin D2 in Humans" (Heaney, Recker, Grote, Horst, Armas 201 I) Conclusion: Vitamin D3 is ~87% more potent in raising and maintaining serum 25(OH)D concentrations and produces 2-3 fold greater storage of Vitamin D3 over D2
  • 10. D3Natal-Vitamin D3 • Low levels of Vitamin D during pregnancy are associated with poor fetal/infant skeletal formation and growth as well as poor tooth mineralization • Over 50 Universities, Hospitals and Clinics utilize Bio- Tech Vitamin D3 for their research • Vitamin D3 is not a Rx. Vitamin D2 is available via Rx only
  • 11. D3Natal -Vitamin D3 • Lactation and Vitamin D3 • A reassessment of current Vitamin D intake for mothers is critical as current recommendations result in a high degree of Vitamin D deficiency, especially in the African American population. • Current recommendations of 200-400 ILJ/d for pregnant and lactating women are grossly inadequate, especially in minority populations. A growing body a research suggests that dosing with over 2000 ID/d is required to maintain robust normal levels. • Studies that introduce high doses ofVitamin D (2000IU to 4000IU) improve the nutritional status of both mother and infant.
  • 12. D3Natal-Folic Acid • Folic acid is very important in embryonic development • The RDA for Folic Acid is 600mcg. However, new research and March of Dimes recommend I mg Folic acid daily • Folic Acid is involved in the synthesis of DMA and in cell division • Insufficient dietary folic acid increases the risk of birth defects, especially neural tube defects (NTD) such as spina bifida and anencephaly • 3000 children born annually with NTD in the U.S. alone
  • 13. D3Natal-Folic Acid • Quatrefolic® acid is the form of folic acid used in Bio Tech's D3Natal • Quatrefolic® by Gnosis Labs is the ACTIVE form of L- Methylfolate (L-5-methyltetrahydrafoIate) • A form of Vitamin B, L-5-MTHF provides the active form of folic acid. ~40% of the population cannot adequately synthesize basic folic acid
  • 14. D3Natal-Folic Acid • Quatrefolic® is the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5- methyltetrahydrofolate and is structurally analogous to the reduced and active form of folic acid. • Developed by Gnosis S.p.A, it represents the fourth generation folate providing greater stability, higher water solubility and multiple ingredient formulation flexibility compared to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium salt guaranteeing an improved bioavailability.
  • 15. D3Natal –Folic Acid • Choosing Quatrefolic® as a source of folate presents several advantages both for manufacturer of dietary ingredients and for the consumer of supplements: • Provides the active form of folate, 5- methyltetrahydrofolate, naturally present in the body and available for its biological action. • Has been recognized GRAS. Gnosis has undertakenseveral in-vitro and in-vivo preclinical and clinical studies to characterize and guarantee the safety profile of the product. • Is a Gnosis proprietary product with pending patent and trademark applications guaranteeing a wide range of use and covering all areas of folate application.
  • 16. D3Natal- Folic Acid • Is produced according to cGMP guaranteeing a reproducible quality profile. • Glucosamine, as a salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate does not come from animal sources and the product is suitable for vegetarian consumption. • Higher bioavailability and improved water solubility showed by Quatrefolic® respect to calcium salt open new perspectives and uses for combinations and formulations with vitamins and minerals both for dietary supplements and Food & Beverage industry.
  • 17. D3Natal - Iron • Iron deficiency during pregnancy is associated with adverse birth outcomes, particularly, if present during early gestation. Iron supplements are widely recommended during pregnancy, but evidence of their benefit in relation to infant outcomes is not established. • Mainly for the benefit of the mother, a small percentage of births end in post-partum hemorrhage
  • 18. D3 Natal - Iron • Even before you're pregnant, your body needs ° It's essential for making hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen to other cells. ° It's an important component of myoglobin (a protein that helps supply oxygen to your muscles), collagen (a protein in bone, cartilage, and other connective tissue), and many enzymes. ° It helps you maintain a healthy immune system.
  • 19. D3Natal - Iron • During pregnancy you need a lot more of this crucial mineral. Here's why:  The amount of blood in your body increases during pregnancy until you have almost 50 percent more blood than usual, so you need more iron to make more hemoglobin.  You need extra iron for your growing baby and placenta, especially in the second and third trimesters.
  • 20. D3Natal-Iron Many women need more because they start their pregnancy with insufficient stores of iron.  Iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy is associated with preterm delivery, low birth weight, and infant mortality.
  • 21. D3Natal-Iron  Two forms of Iron: o Heme Iron o Meat derived • Non-Heme Iron • Vegetable, legume, etc., derived
  • 22. D3Natal-Iron  Heme Iron examples and RDA:  3 ounces lean beef chuck: 3.2 mg  3 ounces lean beef tenderloin: 3.0 mg  3 ounces roast turkey, dark meat: 2.0 mg  3 ounces roast turkey breast: 1.4 mg  3 ounces roast chicken, dark meat: I. I mg  3 ounces roast chicken breast: I. I mg  3 ounces halibut: 0.9 mg  3 ounces pork loin: 0.8 m
  • 23. D3Natal-Iron • Non-Heme Iron examples and RDA: ° I cup iron-fortified ready-to-eat cereal: 24 mg ° I cup fortified instant oatmeal: 10 mg ° I cup edamame (boiled soybeans): 8.8 mg ° I cup cooked lentils: 6.6 mg ° I cup cooked kidney beans: 5.2 mg ° I cup chickpeas: 4.8 mg ° I cup lima beans: 4.5 mg ° I ounce roasted pumpkin seeds: 4.2 mg ° I cup cooked black or pinto beans: 3.6 mg ° I tablespoon blackstrap molasses: 3.5 mg
  • 24. D3Natal-Ingredients • Vitamin E • Fat soluble. • 8 forms, only I maintained in the body: Alphatocopheryl succinate • An antioxident - binds with molecules in the body to prevent them from oxidizing
  • 25. D3Natal - Ingredients • Niacin • A form of vitamin B3 • Water soluble • Restricts cholesterol and fat intake according to your diet • "Niacin Flush" a common, temporary reaction to niacin and generally lasting a few minutes
  • 26. D3Natal - Ingredients • Vitamin B6 • Pyridoxine • Works in a variety of ways and is necessary for over 100 enzymes in the body • Helps manufacture RBC's, maintains balance of sodium and potassium, keeps skin healthy, and plays a role in the immune system and hormone balance in women • Deficiency of B6 can result in anemia • Helps treat morning sickness
  • 27. D3Natal-Ingredients • Vitamin B12 • Helps convert food to energy • Helps to form RBC's and production of DMA as well proper function of the nervous system • Found only in animal proteins. Vegetarians especially are in need to BI2 at all times and certainly during pregnancy • Similar to folic acid deficiency, lack of B12 can lead to NTD's - even without folic acid deficiency
  • 28. D3Natal - Ingredients • Biotin • Another B Vitamin • Helps metabolize proteins and carbohydrates and is involved in the Krebs Cycle (series of reactions that release energy from blood) • Helps with transfer of carbon dioxide • Essential to cell growth, healthy hair and nails, synthesis of fatty and amino acids
  • 29. D3Natal - Ingredients • Calcium • Helps build strong bones and teeth • Promotes muscle and nerve function • Helps blood clot • Helps activate enzymes needed for energy production
  • 30. D3Natal - Ingredients • Iodine • Essential for the body to produce thyroid hormones • Essential for the normal metabolism of cells • Aids in converting food to energy • PREVENTION of CRETENISM!
  • 31. D3Natal - Ingredients • Magnesium • Activates enzymes needed to release body energy • Needed for genetic material and bone growth
  • 32. D3Natal - Ingredients • Manganese • Needed for normal tendon and bone structure • Component of some enzymes important in metabolism process
  • 33. Omega Oil  Bio Tech "Omega Oil" contains:  Marine Lipid Concentrate (50% Omega-3) as: ° EPA (Eicosapantaenoic Acid): 300mg ° DMA (Docosahexaenoic Acid): 200mg ° Omega-3 Fatty Acids: SOOmg *Derived from fish: sardines, anchovies, mackerel
  • 34. Omega Oil Omega-3s are a family of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids that are essential nutrients for health and development. Unfortunately, these are not synthesized by the human body and therefore must be obtained from diet or supplementation. However, the typical American diet is greatly lacking in Omega—3's. Research has confirmed that adding EPA and DMA to the diet of pregnant women has a positive effect on visual and cognitive development of the baby.
  • 35. Omega Oil  Research indicates that the two most beneficial omega-3s are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Although EPA and DHA naturally occur together and work together in the body, studies show that each fatty acid has unique benefits.  EPA supports the heart, immune system, and inflammatory response. DHA supports the brain, eyes, and central nervous system which is why it is uniquely important for pregnant and lactating women.
  • 36. Omega Oil  Omega-3s have been found to be essential for both neurological and early visual development of the baby. This omega-3 dietary deficiency is compounded by the fact that pregnant women become depleted in omega-3s, when the fetus uses omega-3s for its nervous system development. Omega-3s are also used after birth to make breast milk. With each subsequent pregnancy, mothers are further depleted.  Studies have also shown that higher consumption of omega-3s may reduce the risk of allergies in infants.
  • 37. Omega Oil  • Omega-3 fatty acids have positive effects on the pregnancy itself. Increased intake of EPA and DMA has been shown to prevent pre-term labor and delivery, lower the risk of preeclampsia and may increase birth weight.  • Omega-3 deficiency also increases the mother's risk for depression. This may explain why postpartum mood disorders may become worse and begin earlier with subsequent pregnancies.
  • 38. Lacto-Pectin (Probiotic) • Formulated with eight Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium probiotic strains • Supports a healthy balance of good intestinal bacteria when taken daily* • Beneficial to overall digestive and immune health* • May help control digestive disruptions caused by diet, travel, or stress*
  • 39. Lacto-Pectin (Probiotic)  Lacto-Pectin Probiotic Formula  The human gastrointestinal tract is home to trillions of bacterial organisms. For healthy individuals, these bacteria perform many helpful functions, including digesting food, producing vitamins and hormones, and regulating the immune system. However, the natural balance of good bacteria can be disrupted by changes in diet and routine, travel, or stress. Bio-Tech Lacto-Pectin is formulated to supply beneficial bacteria, known as probiotics, that can help maintain balance and support overall digestive health.* While many probiotic formulas contain only one strain (type) of bacteria, Lacto- Pectin includes eight probiotic strains to provide maximum support.*
