SALES AND MARKETING MATERIALS
GENERATION TRANSMISSION DISTRIBUTION
Electricity is generated
using various methods.
Transmission lines carry
electricity long distances.
Distribution lines carry electricity
to your House or Business
Commodity supply prices differ by region and face their own market conditions, production challenges and
transportation methods.
It's a well known fact that energy prices are volatile. Large commercial energy consumers are the most vulnerable
to market price volatility as a small change in energy prices can result in significant financial repercussions. Bridge
Power Consulting provides our large commercial accounts with the customized attention, service and support they
need to navigate today's unpredictable energy market.
Where does electricity come from?
There are a variety of sources of electricity:
Fossil fuels
Hydro/wind
Geothermal
Which sources of power contribute to pollution?
Nuclear power
Solar
The burning of coal, natural gas and oil in power plants using
gas turbines or heat engines produces heat which, when
combined with steam, generates electricity.
Water and wind are used in dams and windmills to power
Turibines that create heat and electricity.
This from of energy is generated in the Earth's core which has
temperatures hotter then the sun's surface produced by the
slow decay of radioactive particles , a process that occurs in
all rocks.
Nuclear fossion is used to split atoms and harness
the energy released to generate heat and
electricity.
The sun's rays are harnessed by photovoltaic panels
that allow electrons to move freely among them,
eventually meeting a cricuit wire and converting
into electricity.
Althought the cheapest from of generating power is though the burning of fossil fuels such as coal , natural gas and oil,
it is also the most hazardous to te environment. The burning of these fulesreleases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere
which has been linked to serious environmental complication including: global warming, climate change, air pollution,
natural disasters, habitat destruction and chronic health problem.
Price Volatility
Extreme weather conditions Economic conditions
What causes price volatility? Availability of supply
Bridge Power Consultants aim to educate the consumers about market conditions, pricing impacts
and the important factor of “Price Volatility” : The following factors impact supply and demand and
contribute to price volatility:
Extreme hot or cold temperatures will increase energy
demand, driving costs up. Likewise, extreme weather
conditions such as hurricanes can disrupt supply
and also elevate costs.
Energy prices fluctuate based on changes in supply
and demand. When energy supply increases, prices tend
to go down and when there is a shortage, prices go up.
When demand for energy increases, prices increase and
when it decreases, prices tend to fall.
Growing economies with increased infrastructure
demands drive up energy demand and costs. Poorly
performing economies often result in reduced demand
and lower costs.
The majority of the energy we use is generated from fossil fuels such
as coal and natural gas. This is generally the cheapest form of energy
generation. When there is a shortageof these fossil fuels, other more
expensive forms of energy generation will need to be used resulting in
higher energy prices.
How do different energy products help
control price volatility?
What doe-s the market look like today?
Variable rate
Fixed rate plans
Mirror market rates. As such, customers
on these plans are exposed to market
price volatility. A variable rate plan is
ideal when rates are relatively stable
or expected to decrease.
Offer customers a set rate for their commodity
supply over a period of time. These plans
provide protection from market price
volatility as your rate is fixed and not
affected by changes in commodity
prices.
Commodity supply prices differ by region and face
their own market conditions, production challenges
and transportation methods. It's a well known fact
that energy prices are volatile. Large commercial
energy consumers are the most vulnerable to
market price volatility as a small change in
energy prices can result in significant financial
repercussions.
Bridge Power Consulting provides our large
commercial accounts with the customized
attention, service and support they need to
navigate today's unpredictable energy
market.
Why is Deregulation Important?
Deregulation gives consumers choice
What does this mean for Customers?
Will my service be disrupted?
The power of the buyer. A deregulated market
allows you to choose your commodity supplier.
It also motivates retailers to differentiate their
products from the utility and those of competitors
by developing innovative features, pricing plans
and options that would have otherwise not been
available to you. In deregulated electricity markets,
these products support the generation and injection
of renewable energy into your electricity grid, making
it greener than it otherwise would have been.
The utility is still responsible for the distribution of
the commodity to your home regardless of the
supplier you choose. The supply price however is
not set by that same utility. Depending on where
you live, you may continue to be billed by your utility
with a mention of your supplier, or be billed directly
by your supplier.
Although your natural gas and/or electricity supply
will be coming from a new source, your local utility/
distribution company will continue to ensure the
consistent delivery of the energy to your business.
Bridge Power consulting makes the process of switching your energy supplier easy, fast and most importantly free. We do not charge
hidden fees or upfront charges to analyze your energy needs. With our strategic partnerships with suppliers and knowledgeable
energy consultants, we strive to provide the most competitive prices in the market and our goal is to save our clients’ money.

ARE OFFERS FROM ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY
SUPPLIERS ALL THE SAME?
GIVEN ALL THE VARIABLES, HOW CAN I
FORECAST MY ELECTRIC COSTS FOR
NEXT YEAR AND BEYOND?
CAN I CALL ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY
SUPPLIERS MYSELF TO GET A QUOTE?
WILL I INCUR ANY FEES BY SWITCHING TO
AN ALTERNATIVE SUPPLIER?
No. Each supplier has its own product offering, and customers need
to ask questions. How much bandwidth is allowed per contract? Are
capacity costs included or passed through to the customer? Will
transmission costs vary from month to month? We provide each client
with an apples-to-apples comparison of each supplier’s pricing
and contract terms. This allows our clients to know exactly
what’s in each contract and to avoid surprises down the
road.
We prepare a line-item electricity budget for each client,
either during the procurement process or after a contract
is signed. This budget projects future cost based on the
actual contract rate and historical usage data, while making
adjustments for anticipated future usage. If the regulated
delivery/distribution portion of the invoice changes, we will
revise your budget accordingly.
No. Our alternative suppliers do not charge switching fees.
Depending on the utility-specific program, reconciliation
may occur, and that could cause you to pay a small
amount or receive a credit. Our professionals will help you
anticipate any fees and avoid them when possible.
Yes, you can request quotes from alternative suppliers directly. However,
each supplier’s product offerings and specific contract terms are
different. Many customers may not understand exactly what is included
in a pricing offer and may not be able to evaluate offers in an apples-to
-apples comparison. Bridge Power consulting professionals provide
expertise and a proven track record. When you choose Bridge Power
consulting, you will have a point of contact working on your behalf
so that you don’t have to work with multiple supplier sales reps.
You will be able to leverage our knowledge and experience to ensure
that you receive the best possible contract to meet your needs.
DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT RELIABILITY IF I SWITCH?
WHAT CHANGES CAN I EXPECT AS A RESULT OF THE
SWITCHING PROCESS?
WHY SHOULD I USE AN ELECTRICITY CONSULTANT?
WHAT WILL BE THE OUT-OF-POCKET
COST TO MY COMPANY?
No. The delivery of the electricity is still a regulated function, and
the utility is mandated to ensure the reliability of all customers'
electric service within their service territories. You have nothing
to worry about if you switch.
There are no physical changes, because this is strictly a financial
transaction. The only difference is that your monthly invoice for
electricity may come from another company.
Using an electricity consultant will allow you to focus on your core business, while
your consultant focuses on finding the best deal. Like the stock or bond market, the
deregulated electricity market is a volatile commodity market where pricing changes
on an hourly basis. We constantly monitor wholesale markets to ensure that our clients
can take advantage of decreases and other opportunities to lower electricity costs.
Bridge Energy does not charge any out-of-pocket cost. We work
as a consultant to provide our clients with offers from various
alternative electric suppliers. We are paid commission by the
alternative electric suppliers that our clients select. The
commission is the same from each supplier, which allows us to
provide unbiased representation for our clients.

BRIDGE POWER CONSULTING

  • 1. BRIDGE POWER CONSULTING 2015-2016 SALES AND MARKETING MATERIALS
  • 2. GENERATION TRANSMISSION DISTRIBUTION Electricity is generated using various methods. Transmission lines carry electricity long distances. Distribution lines carry electricity to your House or Business Commodity supply prices differ by region and face their own market conditions, production challenges and transportation methods. It's a well known fact that energy prices are volatile. Large commercial energy consumers are the most vulnerable to market price volatility as a small change in energy prices can result in significant financial repercussions. Bridge Power Consulting provides our large commercial accounts with the customized attention, service and support they need to navigate today's unpredictable energy market.
  • 3. Where does electricity come from? There are a variety of sources of electricity: Fossil fuels Hydro/wind Geothermal Which sources of power contribute to pollution? Nuclear power Solar The burning of coal, natural gas and oil in power plants using gas turbines or heat engines produces heat which, when combined with steam, generates electricity. Water and wind are used in dams and windmills to power Turibines that create heat and electricity. This from of energy is generated in the Earth's core which has temperatures hotter then the sun's surface produced by the slow decay of radioactive particles , a process that occurs in all rocks. Nuclear fossion is used to split atoms and harness the energy released to generate heat and electricity. The sun's rays are harnessed by photovoltaic panels that allow electrons to move freely among them, eventually meeting a cricuit wire and converting into electricity. Althought the cheapest from of generating power is though the burning of fossil fuels such as coal , natural gas and oil, it is also the most hazardous to te environment. The burning of these fulesreleases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere which has been linked to serious environmental complication including: global warming, climate change, air pollution, natural disasters, habitat destruction and chronic health problem.
  • 4. Price Volatility Extreme weather conditions Economic conditions What causes price volatility? Availability of supply Bridge Power Consultants aim to educate the consumers about market conditions, pricing impacts and the important factor of “Price Volatility” : The following factors impact supply and demand and contribute to price volatility: Extreme hot or cold temperatures will increase energy demand, driving costs up. Likewise, extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes can disrupt supply and also elevate costs. Energy prices fluctuate based on changes in supply and demand. When energy supply increases, prices tend to go down and when there is a shortage, prices go up. When demand for energy increases, prices increase and when it decreases, prices tend to fall. Growing economies with increased infrastructure demands drive up energy demand and costs. Poorly performing economies often result in reduced demand and lower costs. The majority of the energy we use is generated from fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas. This is generally the cheapest form of energy generation. When there is a shortageof these fossil fuels, other more expensive forms of energy generation will need to be used resulting in higher energy prices.
  • 5. How do different energy products help control price volatility? What doe-s the market look like today? Variable rate Fixed rate plans Mirror market rates. As such, customers on these plans are exposed to market price volatility. A variable rate plan is ideal when rates are relatively stable or expected to decrease. Offer customers a set rate for their commodity supply over a period of time. These plans provide protection from market price volatility as your rate is fixed and not affected by changes in commodity prices. Commodity supply prices differ by region and face their own market conditions, production challenges and transportation methods.
  • 6. Why is Deregulation Important? Deregulation gives consumers choice What does this mean for Customers? Will my service be disrupted? The power of the buyer. A deregulated market allows you to choose your commodity supplier. It also motivates retailers to differentiate their products from the utility and those of competitors by developing innovative features, pricing plans and options that would have otherwise not been available to you. In deregulated electricity markets, these products support the generation and injection of renewable energy into your electricity grid, making it greener than it otherwise would have been. The utility is still responsible for the distribution of the commodity to your home regardless of the supplier you choose. The supply price however is not set by that same utility. Depending on where you live, you may continue to be billed by your utility with a mention of your supplier, or be billed directly by your supplier. Although your natural gas and/or electricity supply will be coming from a new source, your local utility/ distribution company will continue to ensure the consistent delivery of the energy to your business.

  • 20. ARE OFFERS FROM ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY SUPPLIERS ALL THE SAME? GIVEN ALL THE VARIABLES, HOW CAN I FORECAST MY ELECTRIC COSTS FOR NEXT YEAR AND BEYOND? CAN I CALL ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY SUPPLIERS MYSELF TO GET A QUOTE? WILL I INCUR ANY FEES BY SWITCHING TO AN ALTERNATIVE SUPPLIER? No. Each supplier has its own product offering, and customers need to ask questions. How much bandwidth is allowed per contract? Are capacity costs included or passed through to the customer? Will transmission costs vary from month to month? We provide each client with an apples-to-apples comparison of each supplier’s pricing and contract terms. This allows our clients to know exactly what’s in each contract and to avoid surprises down the road. We prepare a line-item electricity budget for each client, either during the procurement process or after a contract is signed. This budget projects future cost based on the actual contract rate and historical usage data, while making adjustments for anticipated future usage. If the regulated delivery/distribution portion of the invoice changes, we will revise your budget accordingly. No. Our alternative suppliers do not charge switching fees. Depending on the utility-specific program, reconciliation may occur, and that could cause you to pay a small amount or receive a credit. Our professionals will help you anticipate any fees and avoid them when possible. Yes, you can request quotes from alternative suppliers directly. However, each supplier’s product offerings and specific contract terms are different. Many customers may not understand exactly what is included in a pricing offer and may not be able to evaluate offers in an apples-to -apples comparison. Bridge Power consulting professionals provide expertise and a proven track record. When you choose Bridge Power consulting, you will have a point of contact working on your behalf so that you don’t have to work with multiple supplier sales reps. You will be able to leverage our knowledge and experience to ensure that you receive the best possible contract to meet your needs.
  • 21. DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT RELIABILITY IF I SWITCH? WHAT CHANGES CAN I EXPECT AS A RESULT OF THE SWITCHING PROCESS? WHY SHOULD I USE AN ELECTRICITY CONSULTANT? WHAT WILL BE THE OUT-OF-POCKET COST TO MY COMPANY? No. The delivery of the electricity is still a regulated function, and the utility is mandated to ensure the reliability of all customers' electric service within their service territories. You have nothing to worry about if you switch. There are no physical changes, because this is strictly a financial transaction. The only difference is that your monthly invoice for electricity may come from another company. Using an electricity consultant will allow you to focus on your core business, while your consultant focuses on finding the best deal. Like the stock or bond market, the deregulated electricity market is a volatile commodity market where pricing changes on an hourly basis. We constantly monitor wholesale markets to ensure that our clients can take advantage of decreases and other opportunities to lower electricity costs. Bridge Energy does not charge any out-of-pocket cost. We work as a consultant to provide our clients with offers from various alternative electric suppliers. We are paid commission by the alternative electric suppliers that our clients select. The commission is the same from each supplier, which allows us to provide unbiased representation for our clients.
