DESCRIPTIVE TEXT, or in terms of writing only known as “description” is one of English lessons that should be mastered not only by junior high school students but also senior high school students, college students and anyone who loves English. Because after all, descriptive material is very necessary for the increasing of our English proficiency. Descriptive Text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing.

  7. 7. 1. Social Function (fungsi sosial) Its purpose is to describe an reveal a particular person, place or thing. Descriptive text bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan mengungkapkan orang, tempat, benda atau hewan tertentu

Identification Contains about the general introduction of a person, place, animal or object will be described Pendahuluan umum tentang orang, tempat, hewan atau suatu objek yang akan di deskripsikan 2. Description It describing its features, forms, physical appearance, colors, characteristics or anything related to what the writer describes. Ciri-ciri khusus atau sifat-sifat yang terdapat dalam benda, orang, atau binatang yang penulis jelaskan

  10. 10. 1. NOUN AND ADJECTIVE • Noun : a word used to identify by the names of a person, animal, place, and all of things. Adalah kelas kata yang menyatakan nama dari seseorang, binatang, tempat, atau semua benda dan segala yang dibendakan. (Nomina /Kata benda) • Adjective : it is a word that describes or clarifies a noun (KATA SIFAT)

Simple PresentTense • V1 (V1 + s/es bila subjeknya he, she,it) ex : he eats the grass • To be (am/is/are) pada kalimat nominalnya ex : - My dog is very smart. - The rabbits are cute. • Adverb of frequency ( always, often, usually , seldom , never etc) ex : It always sleeps in my bed • Adverb of time ( now, today, every day, every month, every week, etc.) ex : She drinks milk every day.
