Entrepreneurship program at Bachelors level provides students a
unique opportunity to
• gain the competencies to start, develop and / or manage a small business venture;
•engage in social entrepreneurship;
•pursue a career that demands higher degree of entrepreneurial competencies or one that
provides professional expertise to manage small enterprises.

3. Entrepreneurship Development
Institute of India (EDII)- Knowledge
Partner
• BBA Entrepreneurship Program is joint initiative of REVA University
and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) under an
MOU.
• REVA University signed an MOU with EDII to jointly organize various
programs including Degrees, Diplomas, Certification courses, Faculty
Development Programs at REVA University.

Development Institute of India
(EDII),
• Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an autonomous
and not-for-profit institute, set up in 1983, is sponsored by apex financial
institutions - the IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd. and the State Bank
of India (SBI).
• The Government of Gujarat pledged 23 acres of land on which stands the
majestic and sprawling EDII campus.
• In the international arena, efforts to develop entrepreneurship by way of
sharing resources and organizing training programs, have helped EDII earn
accolades and support from the World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat,
UNIDO, ILO, British Council, Ford Foundation, European Union, ASEAN
Secretariat and several other renowned agencies.

5. Objectives of the program
BBA Entrepreneurship Program has been designed with a three - fold
objective-
• Train and Develop well rounded first generation entrepreneurs who can
establish and run their own businesses
• To groom the younger generation members of business families and prepare
them to take the reins of family business
• To prepare well trained management professionals and equip them to run
the businesses as managers

• REVA University EDII academic partnership
• REVA University and EDII entered into an Academic Partnership by
signing an MOU. Under this partnership students will experience
world class learning from both campuses. EDII, being an academic
partner, provides the state of the art training facilities to students
with a strong focus on practical and real time experiences. During
internship Programs and students will stand the benefit mentoring
support from EDII Faculty during such Internship programs

• REVA University and EDII association will be providing cutting edge,
high quality education with great emphasis on experiential and
practical learning.

• Internships and Project Dissertation
• The Two Summer Internship Programs are unique learning
opportunities to students through real time learning experience and
work with Start-ups and SMEs during two Summers in the three year
BBA Program.
• The Project Dissertation in the VI Semester program is an intensive
project which culminates in preparation of a Detailed Project Report
(DPR) ready for external funding of a New Venture.

• NEST- The University Start-up Hub
• REVA university has set up a Start up Hub NEST – full fledged
Technology Business Incubator facility with a 60 Seater Capacity will
be expanding to 250 seater capacity in the next two years can
accommodate 60 + student Start- up companies with a
comprehensive training and handholding support to students who
chose to start their own businesses in their final year.
• The existing start-ups will be providing unique learning support to
students by providing internships and offering on the job training
opportunities.

• CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
• BBA Entrepreneurship program is designed as a terminal program. However, students
can come back to University and pursue MBA anytime after completing BBA.
• After successful completion of BBA the students will be having multiple career paths:
• Entrepreneurial Career : This Program gives complete knowledge and skill sets to the
learners that they can start their own business. The University has created necessary
infrastructure for incubating new businesses on the campus Incubation Centre. Students
with viable entrepreneurial projects will also be connected with Venture Capitalists and
Angel Investors.
• Joining Family Business: Students who come with business background will be equipped
with excellent professional knowledge with a focus on emerging business trends and
markets and can join their family businesses with refreshing ideas to take family
businesses to new trajectories
