• Mostly it is used for indication

Anode and Cathode.

8. As name suggest LED is also a diode and
when it is forward biased then electrons
are able to recombine with holes in
device, as a result it release energy in
form of photons
Phenomena – Electroluminescence
Color – Depend on energy of photon
