2.  My school is on 1, Moira Street, Kolkata-700017.
 Birla High School is surrounded by beautiful lakes and
temples.It is located in a very busy road and is also
surrounded with one of the renowned nursing homes.
 Few landmark places in my school neighbourhood are-
Iskon Temple
Belle View Nursing Home
Park Clinic
Victoria Square Lake
Sushila Birla Girl’s School
The Regency Club
Rabindra Sadan
Nehru Children’s Museum

3. This temple is
Lord Krishna’s
temple. They
have a
slogan, Hare
Krishna, Hare
Rama and this is
the first Iskon
Temple all over
India.

4. It is a very renowned
Nursing Home of Kolkata.
There are various
departments like the
E.N.T, General
departments etc. It is
also specialized in optical
field. Belle Vue also has
its own beautiful lake and
children’s park which
beautifies the
surrounding area.

5. It is a very
good club where
many functions
are organised
and other school
programes are
held.It is just
opposite to our
school.

6. This is one of the oldest museums in Kolkata named after
India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Dolls
from 98 countries all over India are exhibited over here to
show the artistic talents of the people of that particular
country. This museum also displays the epics of India, the
Ramayana and the Mahabharata by clay models.

7. I am thankful to my school, my
teachers, my friends and my parents, all of
whom had helped me to prepare this presentation.
