3. Project Description
Description of Client: Mobily is the trade name launched in May 2005[2] by Saudi Arabia's
second Telecommunications Company, Etihad-Etisalat consortium. The company, as the winning
bidder for Saudi Arabia's second GSM license in 2004, provides mobile telecom services nationwide,
breaking Saudi Telecom's monopoly in the wireless business. The company launched 3.5G services on
27 June 2006 and 4G services on 13 September 2011.
Description of Project:
1. EDH project is worked based on ETL concept. It Extract data from different types of source
system Transform the data according to business requirement and load/write it to target
system Database/File system. Currently it is not creating any DWH.
2. Currently we are working on the approach where the transformed data will be load into
centralized holding area called EDH(Enterprise Data Hold) and this holding area will be
used by the all target system to extract the required data.
My responsibilities included:
