 Vaastu principles are prepared and implemented

 There is no religion and magic behind vaastu
 It was formed in the view of getting positive
effects from the environment
 Vaastu is purely an ancient engineering concept
 Our people used vaasthu in a wrong way to earn
money

 FACING
 Slope of ground
 Acute or obtuse angle

 MASTER BED ROOMS - KANNI
 KITCHEN - AGNI OR VAAYU
 BATH ROOM- VAAYU OR AGNI
 HALLS AND PORTICO – EASANYA

 Master bed in kanni
 Kitchen in agni
 Bath rooms in vayu
 Hall and portico in esanya corner

 The dimensions 4,6,8,10,11,16,17,20,22 Feet
are preferable in vaastu.
 In NBC code minimum sizes of rooms are
specified for bed room, kitchen ,halls, bath
rooms.Manayadi sasthram is like that
concept only.

 Divide the north side length into four parts
and provide water tank in 1st ,2nd ,3rd parts.
 Divide the east side length into four parts and
provide septic tank in 1st ,2nd ,3rd parts.

 If the Beams and columns interrupt the
access ,there is a problem . Otherwise no
problem.

 To spread sun light in morning which
contains vitamin D into the whole building
 The sunligt is also a good disinfectant…

 We already know safety lockers and master
bed rooms must be provided in kanni
 if we provide any windows ,it will get
detoriated and no safety for our valuables.
 This room is just like a bank locker.

 We all know the space under stair is
congested one.
 There may be the chances of collision with
stair slab, so there shouldn’t be any rooms
under stair.

 If we provide stair in easanya, it will affect the
flow of sunlight .so no stairs in easanya.

 This rule is applicable for residential plots
and agricultural lands as well.
 to avoid the quarrels between peoples
 water table and spring of a well is not
affected by another well this is the concept
behind this.

 Portico is generally used for parking vehicles.
 If we provide water tank under portico the
slab should be of enough strength to with
stand the load of vehicles.
 If something goes wrong the slab may fail
and it leads to accident.

 By vaastu principles the facing of the house is
divided into nine parts and the main doors
are provided in 4,5,6and 7 th parts ..
 Other doors are provided at any corner of
the room
 The central placement of doors is not
recommended…

 By vaastu the overhead tanks are provided
only at kanni moolai.
 We know that kanni moolai should be always
closed and there is no windows.
 Due to solid wall it has higher strength than
other parts.

 The construction of circular and polygonal
rooms will take more work load than
rectangular and squre rooms…
 In the point of view of strength it was less
than that of rectangular…

 If the bath rooms are not maintained properly
it will leads to harmfull diseaeses to the
occupants

 Vaastu is an engineered concept for an ideal
house
 Make the house for your convenience not for
vaastu
 If you feel convenient don’t go for
vaastu,Otherwise go for vaastu it will give you
some solutions
