My work spans a broad spectrum of Mathematical Physics. At Cornell, Berkeley, Princeton, from the late 80's to mid 90's, Superstring theory compactification, the vacuum configuration for inflationary string theory; additional research encompassed the behavior of the Laplace operator for open-ended systems, as black holes, substantial discoveries on global gauge, conformal, and gravitational anomalies; deriving a universal algebra and quantum formalism, for background-independent field theories in which space and time emerges from energy.
