06/12 Houston, TX – (Short Term Contract)
• Performed deep dive on the original requirements on AutoCAD 2012 Upgrade, and their 13 associated applications
to 26 Locations Globally for their Go-Live 11/16/2012:
• Recommended and Re-evaluated Solutions to Objectives; Project team, roles/responsibilities; Business case; List of
Deliverables, Project schedule and costs for both internal and external vendors. Stage Gate Process Used: PDF (Project
Delivery Framework).
• This project was at a very high risk for failure if Shell decided to move forward. There were also issues I had
discovered during my review process of their Budget Release document I was given:
o Various Releases of Vista, had problems, some never tested with AutoCAD 2012, various .Net versions,
and some associated apps not compatible with AutoCAD 2012.
o There was a project in the Portfolio in which another Team was already in the testing stage of rolling out
Windows 7.
o Some of the 2009 associated apps were not compatible with 2012 or no longer supported.
o Business Decision: Hold off until January 2013 to rollout AutoCAD 2013, with their associated applications on
Windows 7 Operating System.

Project on new releases of their Oracle Financial software. (Eagle Global Logistics).

• Managed the implementation project of Livelink Document retention application in San Francisco. This included turning

services to the oil and gas industries. This also included the Files for the Engineering and Construction Group, which covered

07/00 Shell Oil Products US - Sr. Business Analyst/Project Manager
12/03 Houston, TX
• Participated and led the effort on building a new PMO office, which included standardized templates and building the PMO
team according to PMI standards. Stage Gate Process Used: PDF (Project Delivery Framework)
• Managed the rationalization of all business applications Portfolios, for numerous Shell locations to standardize all applications
according to operational standards for all Shell locations. This was a Global project to implement a lock down environment of
all desktops using Smartcard technologies. Also assisted customers in using and testing applications across multiple
platforms of Shell’s Infrastructure. This included corporate applications, plant applications, and refineries across the US along
with connectivity. (Project in whole-roughly $200m with 18 Project Managers).
• Facilitated all stakeholder meetings for 18 people in 9 Business Units, and 14 people at 7 different plants. This was a total of
32 people to define, concur and document on all of the Business processes.
*This project, was just one module out of 6, saved the company $138 million dollars a year in wasted products to develop an
automated global solution, from a manual process into a Global automated solution. All 6 CRM modules were implemented and
installed on all Desktops.
• Performed guidance to other Business Analysts on process issues and process flows on various, Internet, Intranet, Siebel
database issues, and Laboratory Information Management Systems Warehouse Management systems, Maximo, Business
Objects, Genesis, and other Business and Plant Operations and transportation applications.
