Just weeks later, Google acquired AdMob for U.S.$750 million, kicking off an M&A frenzy that continued through last week, when Hewlett-Packard acquired Palm for $1.2 billion. This report reviews all the recent acquisitions activity, examines what it means for consumers and other industry participants, and speculates on what other wireless M&A deals are likely to follow.
