Your responsibilities:
• Active participation during the “Request for Proposal“ phase: understanding client context, developing and presenting
project approach
• Analysis and review of Finance, Controlling, Consolidation and Reporting related business processes to fully understand
the client’s requirements
• Identification of gaps between client requirements and SAP Financial Business Suite functionality
• Development of target processes to be implemented, design and implementation of state-of-the-art, client specific
solutions in SAP including the configuration and/or customisation of the system as well as related interfaces
• Development of target process documentation and of testing and training documents, execution of tests, delivery of key –
user and end - user training sessions, provision of post go live support, acting as a sparring partner for the client
• Anticipating, identifying, tracking and resolving issues and risks related to the client projects and affecting SAP applications
• Proactively building relationships with client organisations’ functional owners in order to build long term partnerships
• Advising on Controlling, Accounting, Financial planning, Treasury, Consolidation, Financial risk and compliance
management related topics
• Management of a project work-stream and team as part of a complex project
• Identification of sell-on / new business opportunities
• Active participation in knowledge management activities as part of the European community of practice

3. Your qualifications and skills:
• Higher education degree in Finance, Information Technology Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
• SAP configuration experience with the following modules: Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). Solid process
know-how and a proven track record in several of the following areas: Controlling, Accounting and Financial close,
Financial planning & analysis, Treasury, Collaborative Finance operation (e.g. Financial Shared Services), Consolidation,
Financial risk and compliance management
• At least 3-5 Full Project Lifecycles of work experience in an international consulting company or as an in-house Consultant
with hands-on SAP Finance (especially FI & CO)
• Process integration experience
• Understanding of SAP HANA / SAP Simple Finance offerings and willingness to proactively develop knowledge of SAP next-
generation Business Suite
• Proven ability to deliver to tight timescales, success in team working and excellent communication skills
• Experience in business partnering with Operations
• Strong qualitative analysis and problem solving skills, strong organisation skills, flexibility and openness to uncertainty
• Ability to interface in a team environment with various levels of management, high degree of initiative and self-motivation
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and an excellent command of both English and French
• Willingness to travel often, particularly in Europe
