2. Introduction I will be telling you about the tools that ancient humans used to stay alive. I picked tools because I am interested of what they used to live.
3. Australopithecus Afarensis Australopithecus was not the smartest people they had very small brains they only used very small tools used like a twig to catch bugs. There tools where only used the way that they where found.
4. Homo habilis The Homo habilis had bigger brains than the Australopithecus so its tools where more intelligent with there tools the Homo habilis used tools to chop, scrape, and cut. They made these tools but knocking stone flakes off hard rocks. They where also able to make shelter with these tools.
5. Homo erectus Homo erectus is named after upright man so that would make it easer to make and use tools. Homo erectus used more complex tools such as hand axe or spear this allowed the homo erectus hunted in Africa and Asia so these tools where critical. They where also the first to make fire buy banging rocks together
6. Homo sapiens (Neanderthaul) Sapiens means thinking which means they could make knives and also made throwing weapons such as spears and harpoons. They also used these tools to build shelter and used these tools for making food. They could also speak so they cold used hunting tools for a complex hunt.
7. Homo sapiens (Cro-Magnon) Cro-Magnon used a Verity of tools like spears to harpoons to catch fish and also to hunt animals. They also used more complex tools like the axe. They where the first to use the bow and arrow. They also made fish hooks and needles from antlers.
8. Homo sapiens sapiens (modern humans) Modern Humans have more developed tools like guns . The old Homo sapiens sapiens survived the Ice age and lived to populate the earth and still live today They had the inventions of farming so they could control there food if hunting failed.
9. Conclusion This is how tools evolved through the ages. From Australopithecus to homo sapiens sapiens humans still roam the earth.
