Personal Profile
For the past 18 months I have been employed in the roll of Regional Service Engineer for
Trelleborg Marine Systems based out of Dubai covering a vast area including India, Middle
East and Africa. I am responsible for such services onsite including Installation,
Commissioning, Site Upgrade Survey Inspections, Business Development, Product
Maintenance and General contractor supervision/training. Previous to this position I was
employed for seven years by the world leader in Wind Turbines Vetsas Wind Systems
specialising in a career in the field of Renewable Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. I find
myself to be a dynamic team player with a friendly outgoing personality, self-motivated and
enthusiastic. A natural problem solver who is experienced in working to strict command
critical deadlines and, who’s innovative approach, brings workloads and projects to a
successful conclusion. An excellent communicator at any level who is equally happy to work
alone or as a team member. Conscientious and versatile I enjoy a challenge whilst my
attention to detail and considerable organisational skills allow myself to readily accept
responsibility.

line
 Carry out a multitude of diagnostic troubleshooting using multiple software programs
 Utilized by clients in the training of end user client staff
 Carried out extensive commissioning tasks in multiple countries/continents
 Use of various network connectivity systems – RS232, 422 & 485, Fibre Optic and
Ethernet
 Ability to compile extremely detailed technical documentation about multiple
electrical/mechanical products.
 Employed to help develop a profitable after sales service structure to be rolled out to
existing and developing clients.

Vestas Celtic Wind Technology Service Technician Level 2
 Performing routine preventative maintenance on wind turbine mechanical, electrical,
transmission and hydraulic systems.
 Utilised for extensive knowledge of all turbine systems during in depth troubleshooting
 Carryout unscheduled maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns.
 Scheduled servicing of turbine including initial servicing, 3 month, 6 month and
annually.
 Major component changes including gearboxes, generators and blades.
 Responsible with the removal and installation of wind turbine mechanical, electrical,
gearboxes and hydraulic components.
 Expertise knowledge of gearbox visual and endoscope inspections
 Advanced use of all SCADA systems on site
 Authorised Technician within Wind Turbine Safety Rules
 Trained to write Approved Written Procedures, Method Statements and Risk
Assessments
 Day to day use of SAP and site management including £100,000 maintenance of
stocked parts
 Site management of sub-contractors
 Utilised in the training of junior staff members

 Experienced with working within tight spaces and heights with Rotating Machinery.
