3. The Biondetti - 1898 -1955
When we started the idea of our classics art company we were
looking for a name that would stick out, would be appealing and
would emphasize on the history of classic cars. We looked into
famous trackcorners, coachbuilders and racedrivers. Finally we
found the amazing story of the most succesfull Mille MIglia
contender. And suddenly it all came together.
Mister Clemente Biondetti not only won the most ever (four) races
of the Mille Miglia in the pre- and postwar era (two with Alfa
Romeo and two with Ferrari) but he did it being already in his late
fourties. Famous was his 1947 victory, in which he beat the Ferrari
of the great Tazio Nuvolari in the pouring rain without using two
gears. He won the Targa Florio twice and even made it to the
Formula 1 with a self-built Ferrari-Jaguar even though it was only
one race. The Italian endurance racing dominator retired after
finishing 4th at the Giro d’Italia in a Lancia Aurelia just four months
before he was finally beaten by cancer aged 56.

The Collection
5. The Artist
Jeremy Cliff is a Chicago, Illinois based automotive photographer.
Beginning his passion back in 2008 with a love for cars and a
newfound hobby, he was unaware of how far it would take him.
Since then, Cliff is not only a house hold name in the automotive
space he has also published in many of the top magazines, books
and blogs. He is currently considered one of the greatest
automotive photographers in the world. With his unique approach
and ability to see the car design as the designer intented it to Cliff
captures the ultimate beauty of the car in front of him.
For Biondetti Art, his objective is to create the world’s finest and
most dinstinctive classic car art in order to forfill the wishes of all
extraordinary classics lovers.
6. The Craftmanship
After selecting the ultimate photo we start with the coloring in gold
and optimise the photo for the liquid gloss coating before we can
even start printing.
The print is mounted on a Dibond panel. Dibond is an aluminum
composite panel resistant to bending.
A special hanging frame is attached to the back.
In the next step the liquid gloss, a crystal clear epoxy, is poured on
top of the print and divided equally over it. This layer requires two
days to dry and harden.
At Biondetti Art we use multiple layers to reach the ultimate result in
brilliance and depth.
Finally, we personally check each artwork for final approval.
We then add the specs and certified number of the specific artwork
and box it in a special crate. Only then the artwork is ready for
shipping to our extraodinary clients.
