  3. 3. Number of authors Sources may have a variety of authorship, for example: • One author • Two authors • Multiple authors • Groups as authors • Works with no authors or anonymous authors
  4. 4. One Author To cite one author, use one of the following formats: • According to Davis (2009), popular video games can be effective for learning. • Second Life and other simulation based web sites are used in instruction (Davis, 2009). • In 2009, Davis’ study of online learning showed the effectiveness of games for learning. (American Psychological Association, 2010, p. 174)
