This is a walkthrough of my work throughout the semester in my Interactive Multimedia 3 class at Slippery Rock University. We were tasked with choosing a prompt, completing user research, walking through user journeys, completing wireframes and finally a prototype of our app.

  2. 2. Project Overview GAMEPLAN is the ultimate fitness app for helping and aiding gym-goers. Gameplans main goal is to assist users with their gym experience. This is achieved by setting up schedules, signing up for classes, and reserving trainers. Gameplan will provide users with all of the information they will need to have the most optimal workout possible. 2
  3. 3. Project Overview Gameplan is a scheduling app for Gameplan fitness centers. Gameplan will automatically generate a workout plan and schedule depending on what your fitness goals are (gain strength, build muscle, lose weight). Gameplan’s fitness coaches will create the most optimal weekly schedule depending on how many days you plan on going to the gym. Gameplan will link users to a personal trainer who will then ask them their goals in order to tailor their workout plan to your needs. Gameplan will inform users of certain workout splits and specific days which the user will then choose and begin doing. This app is essential for beginners who are not sure what to do in the gym, and will also provide a useful tool for the more experienced gym goers to track their progress and stay on schedule. Lastly, Gameplan gives the user a summary of their personal trainer and qualifications. The meeting times and estimated workout length will be listed on your daily schedule. Classes such as rumba, yoga, peloton, etc. will schedule days and times like the workouts. 3

Kyle Grassfield User Persona 11 Name: Kyle Grassfield Age: 20 Hometown: Slippery Rock Education: Junior at Slippery Rock University Occupation: Student Frustrations: Kyles main goal is to do things efficiently. He does not want a trainer that does not know what he is talking about. He also hates being off schedule and uncoordinated. Goals: Kyles main goals are to build muscle while working with an experienced trainer. He is also trying not to hurt himself during a workout. User Problem statement: Kyle is a beginner weightlifter who needs a good trainer and efficient schedule in order to build muscle as well as he possibly can. Kyle Grassfield is a 20-year-old college student. Kyle never played sports growing up as he focused all his time on his academic. Kyle is a very smart kid who is looking to put on some size and become more athletic as he isn’t not very active.

Kim Swanson User Persona 12 Name: Kim Swanson Age: 63 Hometown: Pittsburgh Education: College Graduate Occupation: Retired Nurse Frustrations: Kim is not a fan of the younger gym crowd she encounters. She also hates being unorganized and showing up late to things. Goals: Kim wants to maintain her figure and be athletic and agile as her body is beginning to give out due to old age. User Problem statement: Kim Swanson is a retired and active woman who needs a schedule / workout plan app in order to stay physically active, in order and effectively doing the workouts that she is trying out. Kim Swanson is a retired nurse who has a lot of free time on her hands. Kim has always been a slim woman and wishes to stay that way. Kim wants to being attending classes at her local gym with her friends.

  15. 15. Low-Fi Wireframes This wireframe is modeled on Kyle Grassfield’s user journey. This is meant to walk users through all aspects of the app, as well as draw inspirations for improvement. 15 - Login page - Log in, Sign up or view as guest to continue - Viewing as guest works as usual but will not save any or have any info
