Step 2: set full client documents as source, migrate these with the upgrade management tool.
Step 3: run the conversion using the report conversion tool
Step 4: review conversion result, review the logs
Step 5 :Estimate the level of rework for each document. Set categories: no rework / some rework / a lot of rework / needs to be recreated
If not validated, the documents are sent back to the conversion team

About Upgrade management tool Desktop Intelligence Plug-In
Using the Desktop Intelligence plug-in for the upgrade management tool is optional
Use when Desktop Intelligence document dependencies are not clear, and when you will be using the 4.0 Report Conversion tool rather than the XI 3.x Report conversion tool to convert Desktop Intelligence documents.
The plug-in is intended only to calculate dependencies and bring it forward to 4.0 CMS, not to upgrade Desktop Intelligence documents.

DCP Limitations
As there are no Desktop Intelligence engines within the BI4.x Platform, several limitation are to be considered when leveraging DCP
1.Scheduling is processed on client side (using Windows Scheduler)
2.DCP Scheduling is only compatible with Windows 7/8/8.1
3.When the user is connected to a BI 4.1, Login As to a SBOP Enterprise 3.1 Server will not work due to limitations. The user will have to Exit DeskI client and login to the SBOP Enterprise 3.1 Server
4.Opening DeskI Desktop Client in 3-tier/ZABO mode from BI Launchpad is NOT supported
5.When BI 4.1 Clients is installed side by side to 3.1 Clients, Opening DeskI 3.1 from Infoview will not work
