VTA Sponsors and Delivers
• VTA partners with Local Agencies and Caltrans to deliver major
improvement projects in Santa Clara County
• VTA assumes sponsorship role to secure federal, state or regional fund
sources (non-measure funded) and performs role of project delivery
agency to implement projects
• Projects include major transit, highway and multi-jurisdictional bicycle
improvements

Envision Silicon Valley
• Countywide Transportation Planning Update
• Inclusive approach to develop a program for potential sales tax measure
• Discuss current and future transportation needs, identify solutions and
craft funding priorities.
• An Ad-hoc committee of the VTA Board of Directors has been formed to
help guide staff through the process.
• VTA is working closely with our advisory groups throughout the process.
Additionally, we have established stakeholder groups to solicit their
vision and input.
