early as 2018 has been cultivating his professional experience for a career in healthcare as a scientific researcher. A

Completed the professional industry placement specializing in Neuroscience. Acquired and develop dissection and
presentation skills. Learnt to use a range of equipment such as vibratomes and fluorescence microscopes whilst
primarily working in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and also developed the knowledge to use the software to be able
to read and analyze the data I gathered.

Developing an in-depth understanding of biomedical science and its application in medicine, research and the
scientific industry. Ability to consider human disease at the molecular, cell and whole-body level, and learn how
diseases are diagnosed and treated in terms of biological tests.
In addition, I have a gained an insight into the functions of professional lab work, whilst developing a range of
laboratory skills ranging from pipetting to using the skills learnt in a wider commercial context completed in our end
of year project such as ELISA testing and PCR, and many more.
