The SHAR-Q project aims to design a decentralized collaboration framework to optimize renewable energy and energy storage sharing among participating actors across 6 European countries. It will connect distributed energy ecosystems into an interoperability network through an open API gateway. This will allow sharing of storage capacities to significantly reduce costs for renewable energy and storage ecosystems. The solution is being tested through 3 pilot projects demonstrating integrated local energy systems.
