• Creation of Parks and Neighborhoods
• Community Enhancement dissolved
• Loss of two division directors
• In wake of budget constraints, move approved by
Mayor Wharton and council - promoted by CAO
6. Memphis 3-1-1
Memphis 3-1-1 is designed to help citizens access
information related to non-emergency concerns or
issues.
Acts as one-stop for residents to inquire about among
others, street maintenance, traffic issues, sanitation,
and city payments.
Integrating with M.C.S.C.
New York City, Chicago, Denver, New Orleans

In establishing 3-1-1, specifically:
• Logistics related to best practices
• Policies and procedures
• Oracle
• Additionally, team site visits to comparable operating
centers
