DELOITTE INDIA
Deloitte India (Deloitte Haskins & Sells) looks after the
Indian operations and serves majorly Indian clients in
matters of taxation, etc and carries out audits.
On the other hand, Deloitte US India is a offshore unit of
Deloitte US, where the work is done in collaboration with
the US entity and the clients are mostly US based.
Both are seperate legal entities.
Clients: Deloitte India, as the name suggests, deals
primarily with Indian, and to an extent, SAARC, ME and
African clients, in which USI deals with outsourced work
from US and Europe.
Working style: India offices need one to do end-to-end
work at client place directly, while USI requires one to do
specialized outsourced work from office.
Facilities and perks: USI offices have greater facilities and
perks, compared to India offices, as they have to target
more retention in USI due to office nature of the job.
That being said, USI has greater onsite opportunities, and
lower office formalities. Deloitte consulting INDIA have
actual US clients while other entities like Deloitte
19. Canada, Deloitte Belgium , Deloitte UK etc are clients of
Deloitte SSLP.
Deloitte LLP and each of its primary subsidiaries —
Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Tax LLP, Deloitte
Consulting LLP, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP,
and Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP —
are private partnerships registered under the laws of the
State of Delaware as limited liability partnerships. These
subsidiaries provide audit and enterprise risk services,
tax, consulting, and financial advisory services. Each of
the subsidiary partnerships is capitalized separately,
operates as a separate legal entity with its own
management and governance, and provides a distinct
though complementary array of services. This structure
was designed to align the legal structure to conduct their
business. Each of these subsidiaries is owned, directly or
indirectly, by Deloitte LLP and by the partners and
principals who actively participate in the practice of that
subsidiary. Deloitte LLP facilitates the coordination of the
activities of its subsidiaries and has a management
structure and a board of directors to provide governance
across the organization. Deloitte LLP does not provide
services to clients; services are performed by each of the
primary subsidiaries. Where required by state
accountancy laws, Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries are
20. appropriately licensed to practice public accountancy,
and the owners of the partnerships are also subject to
the requirements of state laws regarding the licensing of
certified public accountants (CPAs) and the operations of
the partnerships.
Deloitte & Touche LLP, a subsidiary of Deloitte LLP, is
focused on providing quality audits to US-based
multinational audit clients through a globally consistent
methodology executed locally in more than 150
countries and territories. Performing audits of
multinational companies with subsidiaries around the
world involves complexities regarding scoping,
coordinating, and executing audit work, whether
performed by the US lead engagement team or
component auditors in non-US locations.
The need for an independent, objective, trusted voice in
the global capital markets is more important than ever.
Deloitte remains committed to transparency and
maintains a good working relationship among its
subsidiaries and will continue to engage constructively
with their regulators, elected officials, and other
stakeholders in pursuit of policies that further strengthen
the quality of financial reporting for the investing public.
As professionals committed to excellence, Deloittians are
