Multinational organizations face tremendous challenges with disjointed HR and payroll systems. This article describes how Workday and SafeGuard World International calm the chaos often seen in global payroll processing.
In 2010, SafeGuard World became the first global payroll provider to establish a formal partnership with Workday and began developing Workday integrations to allow payroll data to move more freely. By leveraging Workday’s Cloud Connect for Third-Party Payroll, data is seam lessly passed to Unity®, which manages the data flow between the client, SafeGuard World’s regional shared service centers and in-country payroll processors.
Today, SafeGuard World has over 100 Workday certified pre-built, country specific connectors. These connectors lower the cost and reduce the burden of interfacing Workday’s HCM to Unity®. The complex work of understanding in-country data requirements is undertaken and maintained by Workday and SafeGuard World, extending the value of the client’s investment in its global Workday HCM. This bi-directional interface improves data quality, unifies reporting and provides better visibility into the client’s global payroll costs.
