5. Planning Microsoft Word – We used Word to create our filming schedules – This document also included timetables of when we and our actors were free.We also used word to create our Film Script.
6. Planning Windows Movie Maker – I created our storyboards using paper and pencils, but to create the animatic I took pictures of all the shots and uploaded them into Windows Movie Maker to create that animatic video. The animatic Storyboard (Please Click)
7. Planning Facebook –I used this social networking site to keep in touch with Hai Yen and ask my other friends to take part in my survey and give feedback on my film.
8. Planning Phone and Email – These two platforms allowed me to keep in touch with Hai Yen and the actors in my film. I was able to email them or text them when I needed to meet them up. This allowed me to constantly stay in contact with them.
10. Research SurveyMonkey–We used this website to create and publish our audience surveys. It was a quick and efficient way of getting opinions and thoughts and feedback to us.
11. Research IMDB.com (The Internet Movie Database) – We used this website to carry out our research into specific films, this website contains a lot of information on many films.
12. Research Google - We often used Google to help us solve any problems we came across whilst crating our film. This include finding answers for problems we came across whilst using Final Cut.
13. Research YouTube –I used YouTube a number of times whilst creating my film, and often this was so I could research on other short films, and normal films. YouTube was a great platform which allowed me to view Film trailers too.
15. Construction Final Cut –This is the programme we used to edit and create our final film in. As we didn’t know how to use Final Cut, it took us a while to get use to it.
16. Construction Logic – We used Logic to create our film score. We were able to do this in the Digital Editing Suite.
17. Construction LiveType – I used LiveType to create most of the Credits. These included the film tagline and the opening and closing credits.
18. Construction I movie – I Movie was used to import video clips from the video camera. We also used I Movie at the beginning of the year, to help us get ready for editing.
19. Construction Vimeo– Vimeo is a platform in which people can upload their videos, I used Vimeo to upload my behind the scenes videos, my animatic and other videos which were related to the planning part of my final film.
20. Construction Adobe Photoshop – I used this programme to create the poster for our film. As I was quite familiar with the programme, this was a programme which I didn’t face many challenges with.
21. Construction Imac – This is where i mainly edited and uploaded film clips, I think the Mac was the platform which I used the most. I also used the Mac to research on other films and create my powerpoints and essays on. As well as the Mac I often worked on my personal laptop, which I used from home to blog and create other videos.
22. Construction Camera –We used this Cannon camera as it captured high quality videos and made our film clips look as professional as possible.
25. Evaluation Blogspot.com – This is the main platform which I used to show the steps I took up to the creation of my blog. Many of my planning, evaluating, research and constructing steps can be seen here.
26. Evaluation Microsoft Powerpoint – Using this programme I was able to evaluate and show my results from my audience survey, I was also able to use it to evaluate my work and show the challenges I faced when producing my Final Product.
