5. Major Google Products a Brief History  Google search is developed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin students of Stanford developed search engine as BackRub (1996), operates on Stanford servers. In 1997 its renamed as Google a play on the word “googol,” a mathematical term for the number represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros.
