Samark Lopez donated school supplies to impoverished schools in Venezuela. He donated 430 backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils, and other supplies to the San Marcelino Champagnat School. A few days later, he donated another 300 backpacks to the Canaima School. Lopez grew up in a poor region of Venezuela and was inspired by his parents who were teachers to give back through education. He continues his philanthropic work through his foundation Fundación Educando Niños Felices.

5, 2016 with 430 kits of book bags, notebooks, crayons, pencils, erasers
and other essential items for daily use. Two days later, on October 7th,
Lopez and his foundation travelled to Las Casitas de La Vega in Caracas,
where 300 more bundles were handed out to basic education students at

Samark Lopez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He is the child of two school
teachers who dedicated their lives to education. They instilled in Lopez a
strong faith, and he remains a devout Catholic. He grew up in the
northeastern state of Delta Amacuro in the capital city of Tucupita. The
Orinoco River flows through one of the world’s swampiest deltas and
empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Lopez reflected throughout his life on the
poverty that he saw in Delta Amacuro, one of the poorest regions of
Venezuela. Learning that giving back is a model for success in life and
business has had a profound impact on him.
