The Friends Or Foes campaign at Cranford Community College aims to make students aware of the dangers of sharing private information online with unknown individuals. It encourages students to limit what they share on Facebook, avoid accepting friend requests from unknown users, and report any fake accounts. The campaign also teaches students that having friends in common does not guarantee safety, and to avoid oversharing personal details or uploading regretful photos.

 Make many people aware about the dangers of Facebook
 Help young people from adding or accepting Facebook users who they
do not know and are not a friend.
 Help younger people to understand that “Friends in common” are not
always their friends as well
 Helping YOU to be able to report any FAKE accounts

 Facebook is easily manipulated to create an identity
which is necessarily not real.

5.  Ignore Friends requests of which you don’t know about
 Avoid giving out detailed personal information or upload images
which you may regret later!
 Block or report anything inappropriate
