GJ: Many teenagers today still remain in the dark when it
comes to sex and getting advice. This is why it is
important to shed some light on this subject. On today’s
show we will explore teenage moods, what they know
about sex, as well as how they feel about it… And let
them know, what they really need to know.
So let’s take a look at what will be featured today...
(shots of the opening sequence with non- diegetic

GJ: Today’s show will be jam packed with: expert advice,
‘a day as teen mum’, and the dreaded ‘STI check up’…
and a sex quiz to find out what you know.
GJ: (Reading out aloud the fact on the screen.) (We
spoke to literally hundreds of teenagers across the country
and a worrying 76% of them said they want more sex
education. However, the need for sex education has never
been greater as teenage STI rates have rocketed by 58% in
the last 5 years and we still have the highest rate of
teenage pregnancies in Western Europe.)
On to the Main Show...
We will be talking to Hanna to see if life as a teenage
mum really is like the stereotype.

Well that was...what was expected, proving teenagers do
need more sex education at school and we are
campaigning for that.

the STI check up of Jordan.

dreaded but the most simples STI check! Well just pee in
a pot (show the pot) how hard can it be?

I see what your like with your little one and I have to say
you it looks like a lot of work. Being a teenager myself I
know I would find it hard. Tell me… How did you feel
when you found out you were pregnant?... (Mother
responds) … Oh wow…How did your parents react to
this at first?... (Mother responds)…Do you feel you get
the support you need? (Mother responds)… When your
out, do feel as if people are judging you?... (Mother
responds)…Just to let people know that not all teenage
parents conform to the stereotype teenagers doing
nothing but just relying on benefits. Have you continued
with your studies?... (Mother responds)… Unlike the
stereotypes of teenager parents, she aspires to have a
great career and works hard to ensure that she looks
after her baby and keep up to date with her studies.
