Hyderabad Pollution Controls Limited is now a 36 year old
company, briefly called POLCONS, engaged in design,
engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and
commissioning of Industrial Air Pollution Control equipments
and Air Handling Systems.
This company was incorporated in the year 1978. In the last 36
Years Polcons have installed Hundreds of Ventilation Plants, and
Air Pollution Control Systems; in many Large Public Sector
Undertakings and many more Private enterprises.

7. The discussion with Mr G Ravishankar, Director Operations,
POLCONS, Hyderabad revealed that the project erection is one
of the most critical phase in their entire operations.
The huge sizes of their indusrtial Fans, their ducting and
the proper erection and fitment is highly critical of skill, practical
experience and strong understanding of Project Management.
He emphasised the need for close interaction between
the users and the infrastructure developers and the capacity and
understanding to mitigate the risks while executing the project.

large number of Cyclones in
various projects especially in
Thermal Power pllants and
Cement manufacturing
companies.
Cyclones are most commonly
used equipment in dust
separation.
