Dr. Hamed is a certified food scientist (CFS) by the institute of food
technologists (IFT) leading the Scipertech team. He obtained a
doctorate from McGill University in food processing, focusing on
developing novel food products and processing techniques. He has
successfully led +50 industrial projects in the field of food science,
technology and engineering over the past 10 years.
He also has published +20 scientific papers in highly ranked ISI
journals, written multiple reference books, and has been a speaker
at numerous international conferences. Dr. Hamed is also serving
as a referee in prestigious academic journals such as the journal of
food engineering. He is a professional member of the Canadian
Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST).
