• God can fill the gap where we lack – but
we must do what we are ABLE to do.

• Mark 4:33 And with many such parables

to Comprehend the Spiritual
• Ephesians 3:18 may be able to
comprehend with all the saints what is
the width and length and depth and

• Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of your
understanding being enlightened; that you
may know what is the hope of His calling,
what are the riches of the glory of His
inheritance in the saints,

to Control Self
• Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God, that you
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is your
reasonable service.
• James 3:2 For we all stumble in many
things. If anyone does not stumble in
word, he is a perfect man, able also to
bridle the whole body.

to Stand Fast
• Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor
of God, that you may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.
• Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the
liberty by which Christ has made us free,
and do not be entangled again with a yoke
of bondage.
• 1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch, stand fast in
the faith, be brave, be strong.

to Remember
• 2 Peter 1:15 Moreover I will be careful to
ensure that you always have a reminder of
these things after my decease.

• 1 Corinthians 11:24-26 24 and when He had
given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat;
this is My body which is broken for you; do this
in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same manner
He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This
cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as
often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this
cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

to Admonish
• Romans 15:14 Now I myself am confident
concerning you, my brethren, that you also are
full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able
also to admonish one another.
• Admonish – counsel, advise, support,
encourage, caution, reprove gently

• Acts 4:36-37 36 And Joses, who was also
named Barnabas by the apostles (which is
translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of
the country of Cyprus, 37 having land, sold it,
and brought the money and laid it at the

• 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that you have

13. Conclusion
• Everyone does not have the same skills or
abilities.
• But there are some things we are ABLE to do.
• Find what you are able to do and to it with your
might.
• Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to
do, do it with your might; for there is no work or
device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave
where you are going.
