Description of kit & purpose of
booking kit
e.g. camera, studio filming
I didn’t book kit this year, but I have used the recording studio
several times for recording, but I used it when people weren’t
using it instead of booking it.
General inspection of camera
(including lens cap, SD card,
batteries, does it switch on,
etc)
I didn’t do any inspections because I didn’t use any kit this year.

Lens changeover – how do
you remove and replace a
lens? Describe in box
You remove a lens by turning a certain part of the scope and you
change it by attaching another scope to it.
Exposure 1: explain creative
uses of aperture
I used aperture in the past to make the shot clearer and to zoom
in on certain parts of the shot.
Exposure 2: explain side
effects of high ISO
Digital noise is the effect of ISO, digital noise causes blinding
bright colours of your footage.
Exposure 3: explain general
rule on setting shutter speed
The speed at which the shutter of the camera closes. A fast
shutter speed creates a shorter exposure the amount of light the
camera takes in while a slow shutter speed gives the
photographer a longer exposure.

Equipment Audit Checklist/Good Practice – Camera Video
Explain good practice for
setting up tripod/grip
equipment/etc
Good practice is always making sure the tripod is upright and
properly attached before filming and just filming in general with
it.
Additional information. You
can use this space to write
additional information
regarding any specialist
settings/set up/etc that you
may encounter –
e.g. setting up FPS for
intended slow motion shots,
using non-standard grip
equipment, etc
1. Spinning Tripod grip: I’ve used a type of tripod in the past that
allows me to turn the camera all the way round. I’ve used this
type of tripod in my projects in collage to produce moving or
spinning shots.
2. Zooming in: I’ve used the zoom in part of the camera many
times, mostly to make sure that the quality is clear. I have used
the zoom in to create different type of shots like long moving
shots that aren’t actually moving and making pictures closer up or
further away than they were.
