FMP 2 Diary Week 5
Last week, I conducted two experiments, the killer’s point of view
shots and moving shots, for the killer point of view shots I held an
iPad up to my face and stalked Brody (who volunteered for my
experiments), I also chased him down a hallway with a person
holding the iPad over my shoulder. For the second experiment I got
a person to move the iPad from Brody to me and I got two more
people to move a chair with the iPad on it to make a moving/chasing
shot. This week, I started my pre-production Power Point where I
filled out the pre-production assessment section, I made slides on:
locations, equipment, personnel, and props/costumes and I’ve just
started my storyboard. For the locations slides I explained that I
would be filming the exterior shots in the Hospitium building in
town gardens and the interior shots in my house. For the equipment
slide I explained I would be using my: iPad, Tripod, Microphone,
iMovie, Computer, YouTube and Wix. For the personnel slides I
explained that it would just be my parents and me doing all the film
roles and I had to list their strengths and weaknesses. For the
props/costumes slides I explained that I had most of the props and
costumes at home, but the practical effects would be hard to get a
hold of. Even though I just started my storyboard I was able to fill
out two sheets using my pencil drawings. Writing this Power Point
and story board changed my ideas as my research showed that
some aspects of my project were too ambitious (locations, gore,
costumes). Therefore, I had to simplify some aspects of my
project.
