Senior Sales Executive
Within this role I am on the road visiting clients on a regular basis selling advertising campaigns
and cold call around my area Keighley centre and surrounding villages. I sell advertising into the
various newspapers plus the Living magazine, features and additionally online sales. I am
focused on meeting various targets for each of these areas.
Before being promoted to this position I worked on the classified section of the Newspaper in
various roles as a Tele Sales Canvasser on Entertainments, Recruitment, Sales Service &
Features. Within this role I would sell advertising over the telephone into the different sections
2. of the newspaper, building the columns, achieving targets, booking in adverts, having good
rapport with new and existing clients, canvassing other titles for new business. I first joined the
Keighley News as a Receptionist my responsibilities were- Customer Service, booking adverts,
operation of the switchboard. Cash transactions, banking of cash, processing orders, all
telephone enquiries.

Previously I worked in the same store as The Ladies Accessories Consultant my
responsibilities were- Stock control, selling, merchandising, administration, customer service and
achievement of targets. Before this I started working for Boots after leaving Art College as their
Display Assistant and my responsibilities were- all areas of display within the store, including
notice boards, promotional displays, counters and windows.
