3. Introduction:
LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is a graphical programming
language that uses icons instead of lines of text to create applications. In contrast to text-based
programming languages, where instructions determine the order of program execution, LabVIEW
uses dataflow programming, where the flow of data through the nodes on the block diagram
determines the execution order of the Vis and functions. In LabVIEW, you build a user interface by
using a set of tools and objects. The user interface is known as the front panel. You then add code
using graphical representations of functions to control the front panel objects. This graphical
source code is also known as G code or block diagram code. In some ways, the block diagram
resembles a flowchart.

6. Internship
tasks:
• Array Arithmetic: This program is used to perform addition
operation on an array of numbers. Mean of these numbers is also
found by taking the average of the array elements.
• Celsius To Fahrenheit: This program is used to convert a
temperature from Celsius scale to Fahrenheit scale. For a given
Celsius value Fahrenheit is calculated and is displayed on the
scale.
• Factorial Of a Number: This program is used to find the factorial
of a given number. To find the factorial of a given number, for loop
structure and shift register are used. Shift register will be initialized
to one. For a given numeric value, Factorial is calculated and
same number of times the loop will execute
7. • Seven Segment Display: A seven segment display is designed using seven
LEDs for which a case structure with 10 cases representing 0-9 is designed.
Control for this case is given by a number which is the users choice.
According to this number, the respective case is executed.
• Even or Odd: To know whether given number is odd or even. Divide by the
number by 2. If remainder is 0 then it is even number else its odd number.
• HOME AUTOMATION: Use switch as LDR sensor and use thermometer as
temperature sensor. Use Boolean functions in the place of fan and ac or
alarm. According to room temperature design these booleans. You can also
change the color of Booleans according to your wish.
