Strategies to protect your resources from the many farming players in the domains.

1. How to be Difficult
to Farm
Protect your Resources and Troops from players who are
raiding.

2. 1. The Throne Room
There are a few ways to make it difficult for the farmers to
steal your resources.
The Throne Room. Not every new player can come up with
enough stats to use this method, but most larger players can
cobble together enough Range debuff, attack debuff, defense
debuff and Combat Speed debuff to dissuade most casual
auto farmers.
Wall Stats in the Throne room like Bonus to Wall are pretty
much a waste of space in your throne room. Bonus to Wall
Mounted CrossBows or Traps or Spiked Barriers are far better
choices.
Debuffs. You need to debuff as much of their Throne Room
stats as you can. You can even employ a champ with lots of
fighting debuff stats since most players don’t send a champ
with their auto farming.
Tower Cards. These can be used AFTER you have your
debuffs in place.
Remember: There is a difference between your daily Throne
set and your Tower set.
Some are able to make a Throne Room that cover both but
most of us can not do that.

6. You can always substitute different cards into either one of these set ups.
These are suggestions not hard firm rules for Daily Throne Rooms that are
difficult to Farm.

7. Watchtower Settings in Bot+ and Extra Tools
Once you have your Daily Throne Room ready to defend the cities, you
can set the Bot+ or Extra Tools to switch to a fighting Throne Room. The
switch does not always work, which is why you need a strong daily
Throne Room.
In the Bot+ or Extra Tools, you would go to Settings > Watchtower
Settings and at the bottom of that band, you will find the options to
automatically switch your Throne Room and set a Champion.
You need to know the Number of the Throne Room you want to switch
to. I am using Throne Room #28 in this example. The wood guardian is
always good to have up when defending. Setting a champion can help turn
the fight, especially if they are auto farming without a champion.
The following are 2 examples of Tower Throne Rooms. These are
designed to work with your towers to defeat the attacker.

11. Storehouse Protection
If you have at least the cap for Storehouse
Protection in your Throne Room of 1375% then

12. you can protect 1,622,500,000 of each resource
EXCEPT Atherstone and Gold.
Personal Arcana, The Divine Aegis of the King,
will let you protect over 10 billion of each
resource, excluding Gold and Atherstone.
Storehouse Protection and Auto Transport

13. Use your Auto Transport to keep your resources at or
below the storehouse to leave no resources for the
auto farmers to find.
Ascension Protection
When a city ascends to the next level, it is granted 3 days of
protection from attacks. There are 10 levels of ascension, or 30
days, and then you either must move the resources to another
Ascsnsion Protected (AP) city or use another method to protect
your items. Ascension DOES protect Gold and Atherstone in
your ascended city!!
**NOTE** You MUST pay attention to the time your AP expires.
I guarantee others in the domain are watching and will be Porting
to your city as soon as it expires! Use Mists to keep your cities
hidden from prying eyes!

14. **HINT** Never build your castle past level 5 in your AP city. It
can cause you to drop your ascension (Ascension and Beginner
protection are coded similarly and Beginner protection ends when
your castle goes to level 6) You can ascend with buildings at level 4
and having an Advisor in your Throne Room with City Value.
Auto Ascension with Bot+ or Extra Tools
Setting up Auto Ascend is a good idea but never rely on it 100%.
Schedule your ascensions for a time you are normally at the keyboard.
That way if it fails, you can recover quickly.
Ascension failures can be caused by troop training, crafting, crafting,
battle spells, city not completely built to free level, no ascension
crystals of the appropriate level, to name a few.
Make sure the Throne Room Increased City Value stat is in your city
either on an advisor or the Gallant Trophy

15. Using the Build tab to Auto Ascend
Ascension Protected Wilds

16. Any wilds you own with your Ascension City are also protected. You
can reinforce an Ascension protected wild that is owned by yourself or
by another player in your alliance and have your wagons safe and
protected from attacks.
If a player in your alliance keeps an AP wild, you can load all the
resources above the storehouse into wagons and send them to the
wild as reinforcements. When you return to the game, you can recall
the resources and start building again!
All resources, including Gold and Atherstone, are safe in the AP wild.
If, the AP is lost, and the wild is attacked, the troops will be killed but
the resources will return to the person who owned the troops and
resources.
The wild can be kept under permanent protection by holding it until
the old AP city is destroyed and then, within a few minutes, capturing
it with your new AP city.
NEVER Reinforce the wild with your AP city. It will stop you from
ascending to the next level until the troops are recalled. Always use
another city.
There is no limit to how many players or wagons can reinforce one wild.

17. Arcana
The Temple Level 6 has arcana for protecting resources.
Divine Aegis of the King
What this means is with the Personal Arcana you can protect
10-12 Billion resources, excluding Atherstone and Gold. If you
are in your HQ aura and this arcana is running for the alliance,
the number goes above 20 billion resources with both
personal and alliance arcana.

18. Two other arcana that are helpful if you have a throne room to
augment your Temple buffs are the Sacred Eostre which adds
to your Attack and Combat speed and the Sacred Remnant of
the old Gods which adds Life and Range Debuff to your stats.
Auto Port
I put this option last as it is the most unreliable way to
protect your resources.
To Successfully use auto port you must keep the computer on
and always connected to the game unless you are doved. (A
dove of peace lasts only 12 hours and can be used only once

19. every 24 hours) If for some reason you lose connection to the
game, your city is “open” which means it is available for
farming by hostile alliances. If someone attacks while your
wagons are out delivering supplies to another city, your
storehouse will not port until the wagons return.
Always have up a strong Throne Room when you are away and
use Auto Port so that if your connection fails, your alliance can
reinforce you and save your supplies.
Auto Port Set Up
Check the box of the city you want to Auto Port. Select your
choices of how you want to port and your triggers to port.
Auto dove will only work if you have not doved in the last 24
hours.
Your Tower MUST be a level 8 or higher or auto port
will not work!!

20. This is set to port the city on ANY incoming attacks. You can set it to port
for several wagons or so many attacks within a time limit.
