Klausa 6 – Dasar Perolehan Kerajaan
Perkara (i)c
Agensi hendaklah memastikan spesifikasi yang disediakan bagi semua perolehan
adalah bersesuaian dan berlandaskan bahan/barangan tempatan yang berasaskan
Standard Malaysia (MS) yang dikeluarkan oleh Jabatan Standard Malaysia (JSM). Jika
tidak ada MS bagi bahan/barangan yang berkenaan, spesifikasi jabatan yang
disediakan oleh Jawatankuasa Penyediaan Spesifikasi atau standard antarabangsa lain
yang sesuai hendaklah digunakan.

Semua barangan/bahan binaan termasuk alat mekanikal/elektrikal hendaklah
menggunakan bahan/barangan buatan tempatan seperti mana yang ditetapkan
dalam Senarai Bahan-bahan Binaan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan oleh IKRAM QA
Services Sdn Bhd atau Senarai Bahan/Barangan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan oleh
SIRIM QA Services Sdn Bhd atau mana-mana agensi/badan yang telah
diakreditasikan oleh Jabatan Standard Malaysia untuk menjalankan pengiktirafan
dan persijilan di mana berkenaan. Sekiranya sesuatu barangan tidak terdapat dalam
senarai tersebut, Agensi hendaklah merujuk dan mendapat pengesahan dan
kelulusan Pegawai Pengawal sekiranya barangan tersebut perlu diimport.

IN THE NUTSHELL
Standards and compliance is vital in protecting the government interest in
procuring services and product that comply to requirements
Standards and compliance are the means for the Government to ensure safety &
heath of Rakyat are protected, increase national competitiveness through quality
products and services, generate wealth through increase market access and
protection of the environment to promote sustainable green growth
The knowledge on national quality infrastructure, how it works and who are the
key players is key to all ministries in ensuring adherence to Article 6(1) c & d of
PK 1
Standards Malaysia has avenues to support the adherence to Article 6 (1) c & d
and open to any other suggestion for improvement

It is important because For this we are And we also Impact created Accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies (Certification Bodies, Laboratory, Inspection Bodies, Proficiency Testing Provider) Malaysian to have a traceable and credible system of recognition for product and services The recognition provides evidence of compliance to standards thus ensuring confidence for trade, business and protection of health, safety and environment Representing Malaysia’s interest on regional and international accreditation activities and become the signatory for Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) and Multilateral Recognition Agreement (MLA) Provide verification services to confirm that the certificates, test reports and inspection reports produced by other countries are true. 1. Klausa 6 – Dasar Perolehan Kerajaan Perkara (i)c Agensi hendaklah memastikan spesifikasi yang disediakan bagi semua perolehan adalah bersesuaian dan berlandaskan bahan/barangan tempatan yang berasaskan Standard Malaysia (MS) yang dikeluarkan oleh Jabatan Standard Malaysia (JSM). Jika tidak ada MS bagi bahan/barangan yang berkenaan, spesifikasi jabatan yang disediakan oleh Jawatankuasa Penyediaan Spesifikasi atau standard antarabangsa lain yang sesuai hendaklah digunakan. Perkara (i) d Semua barangan/bahan binaan termasuk alat mekanikal/elektrikal hendaklah menggunakan bahan/barangan buatan tempatan seperti mana yang ditetapkan dalam Senarai Bahan-bahan Binaan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan oleh IKRAM QA Services Sdn Bhd atau Senarai Bahan/Barangan Tempatan yang dikeluarkan oleh SIRIM QA Services Sdn Bhd atau mana-mana agensi/badan yang telah diakreditasikan oleh Jabatan Standard Malaysia untuk menjalankan pengiktirafan dan persijilan di mana berkenaan. Sekiranya sesuatu barangan tidak terdapat dalam senarai tersebut, Agensi hendaklah merujuk dan mendapat pengesahan dan kelulusan Pegawai Pengawal sekiranya barangan tersebut perlu diimport. IN THE NUTSHELL Standards and compliance is vital in protecting the government interest in procuring services and product that comply to requirements Standards and compliance are the means for the Government to ensure safety & heath of Rakyat are protected, increase national competitiveness through quality products and services, generate wealth through increase market access and protection of the environment to promote sustainable green growth The knowledge on national quality infrastructure, how it works and who are the key players is key to all ministries in ensuring adherence to Article 6(1) c & d of PK 1 Standards Malaysia has avenues to support the adherence to Article 6 (1) c & d and open to any other suggestion for improvement
