This document discusses creative collaboration and produsage, which is a shift away from the isolated creative genius model toward more social and collaborative forms of creativity. It provides examples of fan fiction, collaborative curation of photos and videos, remix culture, mashups, and machinima. While these new forms of collaborative creativity provide opportunities for media entrepreneurs and jobs in content curation, major challenges remain around understanding legal rights and responsibilities regarding use of copyrighted content and developing legitimate frameworks for collaborative creativity.
