Mode A: Blended Learning at AMC Responsibilities of BU • Provision of all programme study materials for students’ use • Manage assessment from setting to endorsing assessment results • Approve nominated centre facilitators/ supervisors • Provide Online Module Leaders • Provide 3 live lecture sessions per module online via zoom platform • Undertake 2nd marking and External Examiners Moderation • Manage Viva for Doctorate candidates • Endorse and confer awards through Joint Exam Boards • Conduct periodic quality assurance centre audit, normally once a year Responsibilities of AMC • Nominate for approval centre facilitators and supervisors • Provide 12 hours of Face to Face classes per module and appropriate timetable- avoid clashes with ONLINE PL/ ML live sessions • Undertake first marking using prescribed mark sheet and adhering to timelines. • Facilitate BU external audit visit
  4. 4. Add ons optional Academic support AMC wishing to engage the services of BU staff to deliver the following: 1. Face to face on site lectures at AMC 2. Online lectures for AMC 3. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate supervisor Rates payable by AMC to BU staff is negotiable at reasonable rates

Academic Process and Journey For AMC Nomination of Centre Facilitators Facilitate 12 hours Face To Face Sessions Undertake First Marking Undertake Project/ WBP/ Thesis Supervision 1st marking for RP/ WBP/THESIS Attendance for Doctorate Viva Use prescribed Centre Facilitator Application Form At least 3-4 weeks before commencement of the programme/ module Complete delivery within 1 month of module commencement Complete between 4 to 7 working days depending on number of scripts/ projects Complete between 7 to 10 working days depending on number of projects/ thesis Complete supervision between 4 -12 months depending on the RP/ WBP/ Thesis Attendance at Viva normally about 1 hour organised between 3-4 weeks after Thesis submission

Criteria To be Approved Centre Facilitator/ Supervisor LEB Programmes Postgraduate Diplomas Minimum relevant Master degrees with preferably teaching and industry working experience With Top Up MBA BU Programmes Top Up BABA Minimum Relevant Master degrees preferably with teaching and industry working experience MBA Minimum relevant Master degrees teaching and substantial industry managerial working experience Relevant Doctorates with teaching experience DBA Relevant Doctorates with teaching experience MEd Minimum relevant Master degrees with teaching and working experience MA in TESOL Minimum relevant Master degrees with teaching experience Relevant Doctorates with teaching experience Note: Project/ WBP/ Thesis supervisors preferably have supervision experience OR having undergone BU’s Supervisors’Training.
