The only way for the actives to get their treatments is to go back to the Dollhouse and from then on either gets imprinted or gets a re-wipe. “This was an average routine for all dolls, their handler and the machine’s programmer” (Topher Brink), to the point that it wasn’t even noticed as a major problem. On top of this are in-house troubles at theDollhouse, from handlers (every dolls body distinct body guard) to the terror-ism engaged by Alpha, a previous doll who killed/ injured almost everyone inthe Dollhouse except for Echo. Also making matters worse is Paul Ballard anex-FBI agent who is continuously with great fortitude, finding every possibleway to expose and obliterate the Dollhouse.En v i ro n me nt:At the beginning, the environment in the TV show Dollhouse seems very utopian.
