Back to Church Sunday a chance to ‘check-in’

Dear friends,
In a few days, you may see our
bishops on the evening news. Dressed in
their episcopal regalia, they will be
greeting commuters during the morning
rush at Union Station and at GO Stations
around the GTA.
They will be there in anticipation of
“Back to Church Sunday” which takes
place on Sept. 26. With warm smiles, the

reconnect with the church and to re-

Thank you to everyone who participated in
our “Collect Coins for UNICEF” project; we
collected a total of $388.35!
Many thanks to Sarah Brown, Genevieve
DeMoura, Marylynn Reddon-D’Arcy, Joan-
Mary Spencer and Suzanne Lehtinen for
teaching Church School during the summer. We
were able to provide a program for each week of
the summer with an average of 7.3 children per
Sunday (compared to 5.2 children last summer).
The 2010/2011 Church School year has
started. For those interested in teaching our
Toddler or Multi-age classes, the sign-up sheet is
on the bulletin board.
If you are interested in teaching but need
