Annual Fundraiser
for
Basket of Hope

2. Point Elementary School
Every year, Point Elementary School located
in Oakville, MO, a suburb of St. Louis has a
very successful fundraiser called Jar Wars.
Every child participates and is encouraged to
bring pennies and silver coins to school
representing positive and negative points
respectfully.
The class with the most positive points at the
end of the week wins the contest!

3. Point Elementary School

The fundraiser has
been an annual event
since 2000!

Over $27,000 has
been raised over the
years!
In 2013 more than
$1,500 was raised!


4. Point Elementary School
Team: Abby, Brooke, and
Marissa

Our team of 3 participated in the
fundraiser in 2013. We are excited to be
a part of supporting Basket of Hope!

5. Point Elementary School

We will plan on participating in this
fundraiser every year that we are
students at Point Elementary School!
 It has taught us how important it is to
remember the children in our community
that are being treated for serious
illnesses in our local hospitals.


6. Point Elementary School

Basket of Hope will use the funds to
purchase toys, games, craft items, and
more that will help to fill baskets to be
given to seriously ill children.
 We hope that Basket of Hope receives a
grant from Companies with a Mission so
many more children will receive these
wonderful gift baskets!


7. Point Elementary School

Basket of Hope started in our
community of Oakville, MO in 1995 and
is now a nationwide organization!

Many of the baskets are delivered by
local sports celebrities. Here’s some
pictures of children receiving baskets!
