Carlo Tasso is Full Professor of Computer Science at the Univeristy of Udine. In 1984 he founded the Artificial Inetlligence Laboratory within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, where he is currently responsible of several research projects in the area of knowledge-based systems, user modeling, personalization of Web sites and portals, intelligent interfaces for information retrieval and information filtering, application of Artifucial Intelligence Techniques on Web 2.0, enterprise information portals for knowledge management, e-learning and information sharing.
